Full Moon
On the night of mid-autumn, the moonlight was exceptionally beautiful. Sitting in the courtyard, you could almost read the characters in the book clearly.
Xie Ning had a round table placed in the courtyard behind Yong'an Palace's main hall. Two aqua-colored silk lanterns were lit, but seeing how good the moonlight was, they decided to extinguish the lanterns as well.
Xie Ning really enjoyed celebrating the festival in this peaceful way, without the need to deal with a multitude of people, familiar or unfamiliar, making insincere remarks, and wearing stiff and proper attire that could not be moved even slightly, afraid of appearing improper in front of others.
