Chapter 1 Land Of Gods

Near the great desert of Hazmia

A single girl was walking through the dunes while covering her face with her tattered brown scarf. Her skin was rough and cracked indicating she had been walking for at least a few days in this living hell.

She reached out to her belt and pulled out a water flask from it.

Bonk*

She pulled out the wood from it and sipped water from it. Her thirst was quenched by the heavenly feeling of drinking water, but she knew she had limited water. Therefore, she closed the lid and put it back again.

Her brown eyes were focused on the ancient building near her. The buildings collapsed as they lost their ancient magnificent look through the corrosion of time. However, there was one building was standing tall in the ruins.

Runes and symbols were craved in every corner of this building and it looked majestic at the same time.

" So this is the ancient God of Earth's temple- S'viola. I never thought it would be still standing in this harsh climate."

The girl muttered as she scanned around her surroundings. As a proud desert warrior, she could feel every breath of this land with her senses.

" There are no sandworms or monsters. No traces of other gods either."

She said while wearing her goggles. Her nose was smelling money from the far since she was an explorer and mercenary.

Step*

She walked through the ruins, slowly digesting information about this ancient city where there was an ancient God. The myth said she was a benevolent God who loved her people, but after the great war her record was scrapped and the city was destroyed by the God of the Sun who reigned Supreme in the south.

Click*

She walked into the temple, looking at the marble tiles with surprise because they were expensive. Yet, no one looted this place. Additionally, she could spot some traces of battle on the walls.

She slowly went to the main room while checking for clues. Her interest was piqued by these ancient cravings and something was calling her.

Drop*

She stopped before the ancient statue with horror. Her mind was buzzing with unbelievable thoughts.

The statue had the look of a young woman who was holding a chakram in her one hand and a scythe with chains in her other hand. Her hair was wavy and her looks were gorgeous.

However, one thing was strange. She took off her scarf in horror as she muttered with shock.

" This is impossible. Why am I standing here?"

She shouted, demanding an answer to her question from the unknown, but no one answered her. Only silence and echo accompanied her.

Drop*

She dropped to her knees, not knowing what was happening. All she remembered was she got a request from someone and she got here. She recalled every detail of the map and letter as they were in her bag.

Open*

She hastily opened her bag and took out a piece of commission along with other things. She bit her nails as she rummaged through her stuff to find the answer.

" Got it!"

Soon she found the thing which she was looking for. The girl opened the letter and the map while looking for the answers.

Her eyes read every letter and line of the letter and the map, but there was nothing significant there except for what she had to do.

She scratched her head with distress and anxiety. Her alarm was going off as she didn't understand what was happening to her.

But one thing was true, whether it was intentional or not, she was guided by her fate. Something brought her to these ruins and showed this statue. Moreover, she looked like an exact copy of her.

" The Gods will hunt me if they find this place. But why did this happen to me? I am just a normal girl."

She questioned the reality as she imagined what kind of horror would descend upon her. The grasp of Gods reached every corner of this world unless she reach level 8 or higher. She would be mercilessly killed by the apostles since they would think she had some kind of relationship with the fallen God.
