Prologue 1: Death and Life

----------------

'Bruh, why so impatient' I thought to myself internally as my body dropped to the floor

It was just an average Sunday where I had a night shift instead of a morning one on my part time job at a convenience store, the only thing strange was the two guys with black ski masks on talking and looking my way occasionally, but it isn't the worst sight I've seen. You see a lot of strange things when you work at a convenience store but what I wasn't expecting was that as I was opening the money in a cash register to put the money from the other customers they ran to the front pulled up guns and demanded all the money in the cash register.

I cooperated of course, no one would want to die for such stupid reason as not giving someone's else's money when you're life's in danger especially when you're just 17 years old and haven't even become an adult.

But what I Really didn't expect was that the guy got really impatient and just shot me in the chest and started stealing the money by himself.

'Guess all those masturbation sessions didn't help improve my hand speed' I joked to myself internally

'Now I don't have to meet all those expectations they have of me' I thought of my parents, even though they were really good parents and gave me all those good life lessons like not eating food you get from strangers which my mom still makes a fuzz about I just couldn't handle all the pressure they put on me about becoming successful.

Even though I was born in a typical american household my parents were really strict about my education as they didn't graduate from high school and had to just work part-time and I was always expected to be good at school and become successful in life later on.

And I wasn't the only one, my older sister was also expected to do the same. But she wasn't as good at studying then me so she would get yelled at a lot when her  report card came in. But we all knew that they weren't mocking her or anything but just wanted her not to turn out like them, having no full time job and working minimum wage.

However unlike me who was just good at studying and procrastinating she was determined to achieve something. That's why she took business classes and learned everything in those classes while I was here spending all the money I earned on manga and anime and etc.

Eventually, she built a proper business plan and submitted it to the bank to get a loan which she did and is now in the process of building a generational wealth for her family which I won't have the honor of seeing.

'It was fun' I remembered all those sad and happy times we had together as a family. It pains me to think about how they are going to react when they hear that their youngest child had been killed.

'It's time to go' I closed my eyes as my consciousness faded away.

"..."

"..."

"What?"

"Yes, my child you are already dead"

"Nani-I mean I know"

I opened my eyes again to find out that I was in space with beautiful galaxies and stars in the background. I took a moment to appreciate the beautiful view before looking at another beautiful view.

There she stood in the never ending outer space with her Jet black hair and Crimson Red eyes. A woman so stunning that I had no words for except divine.

"Fufufu, Thank you for your compliment" She said "You are the first one to just say I look divine and not try to describe my features, I've had other people here and they all started going on about how much of a jade beauty I am. Of course, I wasn't satisfied so I just sent them back to the reincarnation cycle"

"Oh you didn't obliterate them for disrespecting you like that" I was surprised, in every webnovel I read the god/goddess/rob or whatever you might call them, always killed everyone who disrespected them.

"Ara, I'm not that cruel as to kill an innocent child just because they couldn't describe my looks" she chuckled "Although, I do know of some who might do that"

"So you're one of the good gods" I said as I stood in this ethereal space, conversing with this divine being, I couldn't help but feel a sense of calmness and curiosity wash over me. It was a surreal experience, to say the least.

"Yes, I suppose you could call me one of the 'good gods,'" she replied with a gentle smile. "But in truth, it's not about being good or bad. I am simply here to guide souls like yours, to help them find their way in the grand tapestry of existence."

I nodded, still processing the fact that I was having a conversation with a deity in the afterlife. "So, what happens now? Am I going to be reborn, or is there something else you have in store for me?"

She tilted her head, her crimson eyes glittering with an otherworldly wisdom. "That depends on you, my dear. You see, your life was cut short prematurely, and you still have much potential left to explore. You have choices ahead of you."

"Choices?" I asked, intrigued.

"Yes," she continued, her voice soft and soothing. "You can choose to be reborn with four wishes because you made me happy"

I pondered her words for a moment. It was a decision I hadn't expected to make, especially so soon after my untimely death. But the idea of a fresh start, a chance to rewrite my story was something I had not thought about"

"Do I get to chose my wishes" I asked

"Yes and you can ask virtually anything as long as it's within my power"

"Can I take some time to think about my wishes?" I asked.

"Of course," she replied, her wings shimmering like the night sky. "Time flows differently here, and you have all the time you need. Whenever you're ready, simply let me know your choice, and it shall be done."

With that, I found myself alone in the vastness of space, contemplating the decision that would shape my eternity. It was a surreal and unexpected twist in my journey, but I knew that whatever choice I made, it would be the beginning of a new adventure, a new start.

Sooo, What do you guys think. It's my first time doing anything like this
