Quelling the Disturbance
With the lead of Elder Qiang, the Elders managed to calm down the spectators and the disciples who were shocked by the sudden interruption. They assured them that it was merely an unfortunate event and that the Test of Competence would continue without further incidents.
The spectators, though still uneasy, took their seats once more, whispering among themselves about the strange turn of events. The middle-aged man who became the host for the dark spirit had also been taken away to be investigated and tended to.
The Outer Court Elders then gathered in a swift huddle, the serious expression on their faces eased up as they looked at the disciples that could be affected.
