Ch. 4 'Transformation'

Without wasting time, she forced herself to rip from the grasp and took the arc. The minute she held the bow, she felt high energy flowing in her then and there. It increased her confidence.

Despite not having an arrow, her body moved on its own to prepare to fire at one band. Miraculously, an arrow of fire, immediately appeared in her right hand. She smiled happily, seeing this and quickly shot an arrow at them.

It only took two minutes. Scarlet managed to beat the bandits, amounting to twenty people. When the clouds covering the full moon began to move away, the village's darkness started to appear bright.

Besides, there was something very bright covering Scarlet's entire body. Her appearance at the moment looks very different among normal Elementalist. After observing Scarlet clearly, the bandits became very frightened.

"Kn... the RED KNIGHT! She is the Knight of the FLAMES!" after that, the bandits ran away in fear, and since then, they never appear in this village again.

Red Knight?

Knight of Flames? Scarlet asked herself.

Her hair was longer, wavier, and the color was bloody red!?

Disbelieve at her changing color hair; Scarlet returned to the old lady's house to look for a mirror. Her eyes widened to see her hair color was, in fact, RED?! Red as in like a blazing fire.

Scarlet remembered the old lady of the owner of the house after comprehend her confusion.

"Old lady, old lady! Please! Anyone, please help me lift her into bed."

At first, the villagers were doubtful and afraid of her. But when they saw Scarlet began to cry for help, they immediately helped her lift the old lady.

Scarlet was relieved when she knew that the kind-hearted old lady was fine. Only bruises on her elbows and shoulders due to collision when falling earlier.

Fortunately, there was a water Elementalist in the village so that they could immediately treat her bruises.

"Kn... Knight of the Flames" called one of the villagers in fear.

"Please, just call me Red. You guys," while glancing at the people who are on wary of her gesture, "don't need to be afraid of me. I will not hurt you. It's just; I didn't know that I would become the Elementalist knight. I never dreamed of it. I heard the knights had to hide their identity. So I hope you can keep this a secret."

"Yes. We will not tell others as you are our savior." the person glanced at his friends while nodding his head once. "Thank you." repeated the person, bowing his body to salute, followed by other residents behind him.

"Thank you." followed the others.

"Wha.. wake up, please." Scarlet was baffled. "Really, you don't need to thank me. I must thank you instead. You are willing to accept me as who I am. That alone makes me happy."

The villagers were no longer wary of her. Instead, they gave her a warm smile.

"To be honest, I ran away from home. I feel like my parents don't love me, and I can't stand it. So I..."

"Red, there are no parents who do not love their children. There might be a misunderstanding between you and your parents. Just go home and talk to your parents. But if you need a place to calm yourself, our place will always be open."

Scarlet smiled and involuntarily shed tears hearing that. "Thank you. Thank you very much."
