Ch. 141 'Zehell's Pet Daemon'
It's been almost a week since Niken woke up in the past era, and Niken still hasn't found an answer. This made Niken almost give up and get worried.
She was worried that Kazuto wouldn't be able to find her and thought she was dead. Niken hoped that Kazuto could still survive and will not become an evil knight like the white knight. Niken was sure that Lionel and Zehell would help Kazuto not to become an evil knight. So the man would be fine.
What has Niken suspected was not entirely wrong, but also not entirely correct. Kazuto could not locate his inamorata and almost thought the girl was dead. But he could still feel the warmth in his heart, which indicated that his inamorata was still alive. Niken was still alive somewhere.
That's why Kazuto didn't need Zehell or Lionel's support because his mind was still sane, and he had some hope he would reunite with Niken.
