This story takes place before the cannon story so I'm changing a lot of the dungeon monsters to monsters that I'm much more familiar with as the dungeon seems to be everchanging so as cannon approaches it will have time to adjust. At that point, I intend for the MC to be deeper in the dungeon than the Danmachi Wiki has recorded so I can throw completely absurd and new things at him instead of having the political intrigue and handholding of Bell Cranell that would transpire if he joined Hestia. This book is about clearing the dungeon not babysitting Hestia Familia as the MC has NO KNOWLEDGE of the story of Danmachi or the world before he is thrust into it. For a known point of reference think of it as the story of Luffy or Natsu but instead, the book follows Shanks or Gildarts. We are not the chosen one with plot armor, we want to clear the dungeon, and politics and schemes are secondary.

The levels in Danmachi also are very abstract as they don't correlate to the floors properly in my opinion so I'm extending the dungeon by a large margin. More floors mean more adventures and challenges. Matchup matters essentially and you cant simply win every fight because your numbers are higher. The numbers in the show always seem to be irrelevant as only the letter Grade truly matters to show the audience what their specialty is.
