Think Fast

Amora woke up with a small paper crane on her bed. She looked it over after fulling waking up and could see that it was newly made and was slightly coming undone. She looked around and Aya walked over, looking at it as well.

"You didn't make it?" Amora asked, looking for any other way for it have gotten to her. Aya replied with a smirk, "No, but maybe it was... Cole~?" as Aya poked Amora in the arm.

"Oh knock it off... I'm not interested. I just want to train and protect everyone right now." Amora said, staring outside. Cole had entered the room, and had seemingly been listening in as he began speaking, "Nope. I can't make origami." he said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Huh." Amora said, looking it over still. She put it down and stretched, thinking about the paper. A small slip of paper shoots from her palm and into Aya's hands.

Aya, who was surprised, screamed. "What the hell?! Wasn't that-" She stopped, knowing not to bring up Andrew's name.

"Yeah... I don't... remember when I could have gotten this though..." Amora said sadly, trying to think back to a time where she digested some of Andrew's blood. "I'm sure it doesn't matter." Aya said, pulling Amora out of her thoughts. "He's always with you now, okay?"

Amora didn't know how to feel about having Andrew's element... was it really his? Or did his grandfather give it to him from some poor victim?

"Cole, can you leave for a moment?" Aya asked, opening the door and waiting. Cole replied that he could and he left, heading to the lobby of the hotel. Aya crept up to Amora quietly and began speaking.

"Hey, about those three locations, when are we gonna go search them for Tasaku?"

Hearing his name pissed Amora off. She could only wonder where that bastard was right now. He could be watching them and they couldn't do anything. Amora could only wish for Tasaku's death.

Aya decided she was going to get her hair dyed and then sleep, Amora asked what for and Aya asked her to join her and they could both get a dark blue color.

Amora had never dyed her hair fully. All she had was the one red streak in her hair she got not too long before. Amora agreed to the idea and they began walking to the place, watching their backs as they went.

It wasn't a far walk, since the hotel is in the city near the main street. Amora and Aya had their hair dyed and this time the stylist mentioned Amora's parents, "No way! You're the daughter of Leon and Reyon! You're all over the news now! Someone leaked information to news stations!"

Amora was deeply embarrassed and told the woman that it was true. She told the girls that their hair treatments and dyes would be free from now on, which excited Aya, but scared Amora. Amora had never been treated so nicely by shop owners before.

Aya left since her hair was done before Amora's. Amora made Aya stay in a phone call until she got home as to make sure Tasaku never approached her. Aya made it to the hotel safely.

Amora's hair was finally done and dry, and looking into the mirror, she felt amazed. Her dark blue hair looked amazing. She thanked the woman and left the shop, smelling a strong scent of water. She turned and could see a wave coming her way. She turned and ran, not understanding where the water had come from.

The wave hit her and something sharp had caught her. She had trouble breathing, and was struggling to get away from what was holding her.

Someone pulled her out of the water and it seemed to be Cole. He used his fire to slightly lift them out of the water, and Amora used Ice to help themselves float. People were floating in bubbles, which was a relief to Amora, knowing there wasn't any deaths.

A ball of smoke began bouncing off of buildings and grabbed Cole and Amora, pulling them onto the rooftop of the hair place Amora was just at, the door seemed to be on secure and the girl inside would be fine. Amora looked at the ball of smoke and it became human shaped. Still smoke, but with rocks floating around the inside of it.

"What... are you?" Amora asked, feeling a bit afraid. The smoke creature began speaking, putting a mask on itself. "My name is Mosbach, but you'll just call me Mos. I've been alive for quite a while actually, since what humans call the "Medieval Times."

Amora didn't believe it at first, but remember Darkness reassured her that it was true. "So... um Mos... thanks for saving us from that flood, but what happened? Who did this?" Cole asked, looking at the water below.

"Oh just an enemy of mine, don't worry, he's respectful enough to save the civilians, but if I get submerged in water, or water hits this rock... I'd die." He pointed to a rock that was in the place of a heart. His smoke changed and began to look like skin.

"This is what I can look like in my human form." Mos said. Cole was obviously annoyed and pulled Amora to her feet and pointed to the ending of the wave, where Leon could be seen controlling the wave back toward it's source on the other end of the city. Avian was passing by, freezing off some roads as to prevent it from spreading too far.

It took about two hours for the whole situation to be figured out, and civilians were finally released from the bubbles they were in, and Amora and Cole were helped down by Mos. Mos smiled briefly before leaving abruptly.

Amora and Cole headed back to the hotel, where Aya had been. Everyone else was looking for any potential deaths, which there ended up being none. Amora conversed with Aya about the whole situation, and Aya pointed to the broken window, explaining that the wave had hit the window and began leaking inside the room. It was at that point that Leon entered the room and pushed the water back with his water element.

Amora sighed, knowing that the room would now be quite cold. Amora made sure her hair dye didn't come out when she was in the water, and it had been fine.

Amora decided to take a shower, telling Aya not to leave to search for Tasaku without her. Aya told Amora she wouldn't and sat on her own bed, texting someone.
