(Chapter 13) Mysteries and Training

{POV Alawion}

A few hours ago

Her son had decided to take in new help on behalf of his friend. Silly child just like his father she though when she first heard of it. while she kept herself busy with making a stew, it had taken some time for her to turn her mindset away from her people traditions on some things while other bits of it were easily to do so. It was a bit of a Suprise when she had eaten her fist fruit, her lover had laugh at her. Smiling as she remembered there past and how they had meet. Until the moment they son was born. Slowly the smile had turned sour as she remembered her family's reaction and treatment of her lover.

Sounds of steps had pulled her way from those memories as they stopped behind her. she could feel whoever was behind her staring at her. It must be one of her son's workers. "Don't just stand there go and grab a bowl" As the person moved closer, she reached out her hand in waiting. Once the bowl had touched her hand, she dunked it into the stew and used a rag to clean the sides. "There's bread and cheese on the table help yourself, also some goats milk." As she turned to face the person behind her. It was a young girl with snow white hair. And as she observed her, she noticed small crystal-like lights around the girl's head. Having had trained to once become a green lady until she met her lover, she was able to see magic. Now it wasn't all magic, only those with weak control would show have their magic show up like that, while others would seem mist like.

As their eyes locked the will of forest once again as she felt power pulse through her body and towards her eyes. While this happened the girl's eyes began to turn a milky grey. Her hand moved to the side of her head as pain began to form. It had been a long time since she had felt the power of nature react to something besides Silver Nar. She moved towards the girl and helped move her to sit at the table. Placing her food Infront of her as the connection they shared by magic was still active. As she looked back up, she saw that the magic around the girl head was fracturing, she could see bits of long ears. it was like trying to look through broken crystal. Moving away and back towards the hearth she felt a strong pulse of magic and the connection was shattered. This caught her attain as even though the girls magic power was like a sturdy wall it was far too weak to do something like that. For a while she felt the girl staring at the back of her head, though she felt bad for what had happened she had no control over what nature wanted. " Don't you know it's bad to stare at someone" she said in a teasing manner in hoped of lightening the mood. All she head was a thank you for the food

[end of Pov]

As Ellehish made her way behind the inn toward the well. It was enclosed by stone walls with metal on the tops of it. they were tall enough that people could prevent people from looking over. Two people were speaking to each other but as she approached, they stopped and turned to look towards her. One was Gersg who was holding two wooden staffs while the other was a man who looked to be in their late 30s to early 40s, they were bold with some of the light of the sun seemingly reflecting of their head. his eyes were a deep shade of brown though they help gentleness in them. His crocked nose seemed off on they faced while a thiccck mustaches covered his lips and connected to his beard. He wore monk like clothes that's color were a mix of gold and brown. A bronze chain was wrapped around his neck, slowly making its way towards a depiction of a dragon consuming a sword. He gave her a simple nod in greeting.

"Looks like the chores didn't affect you too much" Gergs spoke while his eyes scanned her. She shrugged at the comment but had to agree and noticed her stamina was far greater than it should have been given her age and lack of physical activities. "My friend here was willing to help make sure you dont suffer to much" he chuckled as he handed her the wooden staff. "Come on this would be far more interesting to watch then staying all day in the temple" the old man replied as he started to laugh. Ellehish moved a few steps back as she felt a bit familiarity as her body moved on its own and got into a fighting stance. Her grip spaced out and low towards her hips while her eyes ever watched her teach.

"Looks like you weren't lying lass, your stance is a bit off but nothing we can't fix. For now, lift up your arms, else " His movements where fast as she got struck in the face with the wooden staff. "This can happen. A low stance like that is good for running someone through but not much else." As he finished speaking blood dripped down her noise as the older man seemed a bit amused. For the next few hours Ellehish spent ether getting knocked down or stuck hard. Now she wouldn't complain, as there was a saying in her old life No pain no gain. Even with her heighten sense it her techniques were very slopy even to her untrained eyes. But as they continued a look of surprise was growing on both of the men present.

"Looks to me the girl was blessed with a heathy body by the gods" he laughed in joyful manner while Gersg was sweating heavily and looked tired. "Ay or I'm getting older" he replied as the old man laughed harder. Ellehish was tired as well but had only a light amount of sweat on her. As a clap came from behind her, she turned to see Arnovia and Sorus making their way over with buckets of warm water. "Well done Ellehish you must have worked hard to have stamina like that" Sorus said with a smile as he passed her and placed a bucket Infront of Gersg. Arnovia placed one Infront of her as well looking at aw at her.

"Alright let me have a look at you lass" said the older man as a golden light came off his hand and enveloped her. She noticed that the softness in his eyes seemed to chance to confusion. "Alright that should do it, well friend i must be heading back to the temple Pray invite me again as it was entertaining to watch" with that the old man left but Ellehish couldn't shack a strange feeling she got when she saw the change in the older man eyes.
