~In the Black Diamond guild's bar~
"He looks happier, I'm happy for him" Amara said to Luna
"Yeah, I guess so" Luna replied with a sadden expression
"Hmm why are you looking sad Luna?"
"It's just I'm disappointed in myself that I couldn't be the one who lift him up in his worst you know"
"And I just remembered what Luke...said to me back then that someone will take that spot from me because I was too afraid to confess" Luna sighs
"Oh, c'mon just be happy for him"
"I'm trying Amara! it's just so hard" Luna's tears starts to come out
"Ooh there there, don't cry" Amara hugs the crying Luna
After a few minutes of Amara comforting the crying drunk Luna
"Listen, don't cry more, but I heard that Ray's gonna confess to Adelia today"
"What?" Luna's eyes started to tear up again
"Look, while we haven't really got the chance to really get to know Adelia, but once they got together, let's wish them the best, okay?" Amara looks at Luna who's about to cry again after hearing the news"
*Sniff* "Okay, I'm sure that Adelia is a nice girl, not like me who gets jealous of every girl while too afraid to confess" Luna starts to degrade herself
"Oh, don't say that, think about it like this, it's Ray's loss that he couldn't get the nice, caring, and beautiful you" Amara tries to cheer Luna up
*Sniff* *Sniff* Luna only looks down, not answering Amara
"Oh this girl!"
~In the Black Forest Restaurant~
Black Forest is a name to a fancy restaurant that is located near where they first met, it's so fancy that normally one has to book for 2 months in advance just to get a reservation, unless of course one has a huge amount of money to throw around. The Black Forest restaurant is built high in a skyscraper so that it's customer can see the outside view while they're eating. It also provides privates room, resulting in many high-profile customers having their meeting in this restaurant.
"Ah Adel there you are!" Ray approaches Adelia
"Ah Ray, I'm sorry am I late?"
"No, not at all" Ray lies through his teeth as he was actually had been waiting for over 30 minutes
"Well then, let's head inside"
Ray and Adelia met up just like usual but Ray notices that there's something odd about Adelia
"What's wrong Adel you looked sad?"
"Ah, no it's nothing, don't worry about it"
"Ah okay" Ray not wanting to probe any further
then Ray proceeds to switch the topic "Anyway, I've been wanting to ask you this del"
"In the past 6 months that we've met, you've done more things for me than I ever could for myself, you've brightened up my life, you gave my life meaning once more, and I right now honestly I don't know if I can live without you anymore"
"I love you Adel, will you go out with me?" Ray pours his heart out to Adelia
Adelia's face was happy just like how Ray had expected but then it turns into sorrow
"What's wrong del? Did I do something wrong?" Ray asks worriedly
"No that's not it Ray, I actually loved you too Ray, but we can't be together!" Adelia started to tear up
"What do you mean" Ray gently holds Adelia's hand
"I'm sorry that I haven't told you this yet, but.....but I was actually already married to someone, it was an arranged marriage by my country, and I already have a child with that man" Adelia clench her hearts as her tears drops down to the floor
"That's no matter for me Adel! I love you, you're the love of my life! my soulmate! My time with you is irreplaceable!" Ray retorts back
"Our time together was possible only because I sneaked out, I've taken a risk every time so that I could meet you"
"But he has finally found out of my behaviour and decided to lock me in one of his many homes with maximum security starting tomorrow"
"I could only meet you right now because he lets me to go out today for one last time!"
"So, this is the last time we could met, I'm sorry Ray, I'm sorry. I wanted to tell you this sooner, but I couldn't" Adelia cried her hearts out
"Who is it? with my SS-Rank mercenary influence, I'm sure that I could be of help"
"It's no use Ray, even with your influence!"

Currently as the emperor he has multiple wives, so that he could births children with huge potential in power, even more than himself.
Planet Avari isn't only being controlled by the emperor, it also has multiple countries with their own government ruled by a king and queen in monarchy. The kings do have controls over their nations, but they still have to obey everything the emperor's wishes for.

'I'm sorry Ray, I wanted our farewells to be peaceful, not like this"
"I'm sorry Ray, I love you, I'm grateful for the time we've spent together, but I have to say goodbye as we can't meet anymore after today" Adelia leaves as her tears still rolling down her face non-stop
"Adel!" Ray tried to stop Adelia, but he hesitated as he doesn't know what he could possibly do to save her
Ray then spends the rest of his day shut in his room thinking of every possible scenario
'Should I just barge in the Imperial castle? No, I would've died without even reaching close to where Adelia was'
'Should I train so that I could win against the imperial army? No, that would've taken too long'
'Should I just die?'
'Should I die trying to reach her? No, I don't even know if Adelia wanted me to save her. What will happen when I died while trying to save her? Adelia, her family, and all the people I know will be punished. So that's out of the option, as I only want to die peacefully without causing troubles to others'
'Should I just give up?'
'Is there really no other options left?'
'First it was my parents, then it was Luke, and now it's Adel'
'Should I just seclude myself without any contact so that I won't ever felt like this ever again?'
At this point, Ray have finally realized of his biggest weakness, which is that he is too fond of his loved ones to the point of where he values his loved one's life more than his own and are willing to sacrifice everything for his loved one. and after his loved one is gone from his life, he will feel that everything is over.
