Chapter 12: Family Drama.

"Welcome to magic school. All students please attend your classes on time."

"Wow!! Guy's look, it's the student council president, Alice. I heard that she's ranked number one in the entire country." "Yea I heard that too, and she's beautiful and smart."

"What's all this fuss about?" Thánatos asked. "Hmph, who's that?" Thánatos asked. "From what I've heard she's the student council president, and the one beside her is the vice president, Luna." "Oh," Thánatos replied. "So she's the president. She looks familiar." Thánatos stares at Alice. "Big brother let's go, we have class in five minutes." "I'm coming sister."

"Sister, I honestly don't know why we are here." "What do you mean?" ZOI asked. "I mean, why are we going to school again?" "To learn more about this world," ZOI replies. "This school sucks, maybe I should destroy it," Thánatos said. "No you won't," ZOI replies.

"It's been five hours since I've arrived at magic school and I gotta say, I'm still bored." Elizabeth laughs, "Thánatos," she said. "I want to talk to you about something." "What is it?" thánatos asked. 'I'll tell you later," Elizabeth replies. "Anyways, I have another class, later."

Elizabeth hurried to class. Thánatos let's out a sigh and said, "Father why did you create such a stupid universe?"

"Aye you," someone said. Thánatos turns around, "are you talking to me?" "Yes I am," the person replied. "Who are you?" Thánatos asked. "My name is Zeke Armstrong, and I'm one of the members of the student council."

Thánatos walks off, "aye I'm talking to you," Zeke shouts. "I know but I really don't care," Thánatos said.

"You're coming with me to the student council office." Thánatos stops and turns around, "and what if I don't?" Thánatos replies. "Then I'll have to bring you there by force."

"Aye guys, look it's the student council treasurer, Zeke Armstrong," one of the students whisper to another. "Wait, isn't that Thánatos?" another student whisper. "Are they going to fight in the hallway?"

"Look kid, I'm not in the mood to fight, so get lost and stop annoying me," Thánatos said. "Who are you calling a kid?" Zeke asked. "For disrespecting the student council, you will be punished."

Zeke attacks Thánatos, Thánatos dodge the attack and kicked him. Zeke fell to the ground and everyone starts to laugh at him. Zeke got up angrily and attack Thánatos again. Thánatos dodge and says, "this is not fun, so let's end this game. Ice magic Blizzard." Everyone was shocked. "I didn't know Thánatos could use ice magic. I thought only Alice could," a student said surprised.

"Enough!!" "It's the student council president Alice, she's here." "Zeke, what are you doing?" Alice asked. "Nothing, president." "You're Thánatos right?" Alice asked. Thánatos sighs and walks away, "yes, I am and you're Alice. If you want to talk to me meet me after school in the parking lot."

**One hour later**

"What? My brother got into trouble?" "Yes," Emma replies. "So who was he fighting?" ZOI asked. "A guy name Zeke, a member of the student council." ZOI let's out a sigh. Elizabeth chuckles, "what is it?" ZOI asked. "You and your brother really are the same. When both of you are stressed or bored you sigh." ZOI laughs, "I guess so," she replied.

"It's time to go home lady ZOI," Neró said. "Ok, where's my brother?" "He told me to tell you that he'll be busy and won't be able to make it back home with us today."

**Meanwhile**

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" Thánatos asked. "Can your friend Elizabeth use ice magic aswell?" "Yes she can," he replied. "If that's all I'll head home now, bye." "Wait, there's one more thing I want to ask you." "Ok then ask me." "Can you…." "Can you spite it out already?" Thánatos said. Alice whispers into Thánatos's ear, "can you please go out with me?" "Why me?" Thánatos asked. "Because you're strong and I want a man who's strong, plus I feel like I've known you all my life, even though today is the first time I'm meeting you." "Wait a minute, why do I even care?" Thánatos asks himself.

"So will you please go out with me?" Thánatos let's out a sigh and takes a better look at her, "I won't lie, you are very beautiful and sexy. Plus if I say no you might cry so ok, I'll go out with you for a week. If everything goes smoothly I'll date you." "Ok, see you later."

**At the Godly resident**

"What? Alice asked you out?" "Yes she did." "And what did you say, brother?" "I told her yes but only for a week." "Are you an idiot? did you ever think about how Elizabeth might feel?" "No I didn't. It's not like she likes me or anything right?" "You are the worst, big brother." ZOI let's out a sigh. Thánatos laughs, "what are you laughing at?" ZOi said fiercely. "Sister you are looking beautiful today." ZOI starts to blush. "Don't say things like that stupid brother."

Emma walks into the room, "what are you guys talking about?" "Nothing," Thánatos said. "Elizabeth told me to tell you guys that dinner is ready, so you should wash your hands and come downstairs to eat." "Ok, we'll be right there Emma. You can go now." Thánatos said. "By the way brother, I think you should announce the news to Elizabeth and the others. Let's go eat I'm starving."

Thánatos and ZOI sits down around the table with the others. "Can you pass me the chicken salad Emma?" "Sure here you go Elizabeth." "Can you pass me some of the miso soup Elizabeth?" "Sure, Neró here you go." "Thanks Elizabeth." "Everyone I have an announcement to make," thánatos said. "What is it?" Elizabeth asked. "Tomorrow, I'm giving everyone a credit card." ZOI steps on thánatos foot and says, "is that all brother?" "Of course not Alice asked me out today," "what!!" Emma said.

Elizabeth and Neró was shocked by the news. "And what did you say to her?" Elizabeth asked. "I said yes but only for a week, please don't get mad Elizabeth." "Why would I get mad?" Elizabeth asked. "It's your life, it's not like we're dating or anything." "Oh," Thánatos said. "Oh? Is that all you have to say? Oh?" Elizabeth said angrily. "I'm finished eating, I'm going to bed now." "Elizabeth wait, but you haven't eat anything," Thánatos said. Elizabeth walks away pretending not to hear. "You're such a jerk," Emma said to Thánatos. "I agree," Neró said. Emma and Neró got up and went up to check on Elizabeth. "Nice going brother." "Nice, are you going to leave too?" Thánatos asked. "Why would I? I'd never leave you. I'll be by your side, always and forever." "Let's dig in."

**The Next Day**

"Elizabeth are you ready?" Thánatos asked. Elizabeth walks off pretending not to hear him. "She's giving you the silent treatment brother. Don't worry she'll get over it soon." "I hope so."

"Finally, I'm at school. Why do we have to live so far away from here?" Emma asked Neró. "Incase any enemy attacks us,' this school won't get destroyed like the last one. Don't tell me you forgot about that already."

"Thánatos, lady Alice is calling you." Thánatos looks at Elizabeth. "Why are you looking at me? You can go, your girlfriend is calling you. After all, I'm just a friend."

"I can see that you are clearly angry at me Elizabeth." "I'm not," she smiled. "Let's go Emma, we have to get to class." "Brother you are very unlucky, see you later."

Thánatos turns around and says, "let's get going then Zeke." Zeke replies, "don't say my name asshole. We're not friends." "Mhm, ok then virgin. I won't call your name virgin. I'll just call you virgin." "Virgin, why does Alice want to see me?" "Stop calling me virgin!" Zeke shouts. Thánatos shakes his head and says, "ok Zeke."

"We're here," Zeke opens the door. "I've returned, lady Alice." "Thanks Zeke you can go now. I want to talk to thánatos privately." "Ok I'll take my leave president." Zeke walks out and close the door.

"So what's up?" Thánatos asked. "I'm good, how are you?" "I'm fine," Thánatos replies. "So why did you call me here?" Thánatos asked. "I was going to call you but I don't have your number. If I'm bothering you I'm truly sorry Thánatos." Thánatos starts to panic for no reason. "It's ok, you're not bothering me." He said. "Anyways, you're new to this school so I wanted to give you a heads up. There will be a ranking exam soon." "What's a ranking exam?" Thánatos asked. "It's when students from each class fight against each other for a higher rank. The higher the rank the better. "Ok, I kinda understand," Thánatos said. "When will the exams begin?" he asked. "In two weeks." "Thanks for telling me Alice. By the way let's exchange numbers. I'll call you, bye," Thánatos runs to the hallway and calls his sister.

"Lady ZOI your phone is ringing." "Give it to me Neró." ZOI answers the phone, "what is it bro? Ok I'll tell them."

"What is it?" Emma asked. "My brother just called, he said that there's going to be a ranking exam."

"Class pay attention, starting tomorrow, school will be on a break. You're supposed to return one day before the ranking exam which is the 27th of November. Each class will be divided into four teams five individuals in each. There will be a total of 25 classes participating in the exam, a total of 500 students. That's all class dismissed."

"We have magical science next, after that we can go home," said Elizabeth.

"Finally, after five long hours we can go home." "Magical science is great but it's too long, aye sister, let's go home." Thánatos said calmly. "Where have you been all day? You missed class,". "I was doing some research on the ranking exams, sister. Now take my hand, we're going home."
