Chapter 14: The New Alpha

**Unknown POV:**

The four surviving men trudged wearily back to their camp, their faces pale with fear and apprehension. "Your Majesty, we regret to inform you that we failed to capture the girl. Logan intercepted us and subjected us to torture. He even killed one of our own."

The king's wrath ignited like wildfire, his fists clenched tightly at his sides. "What? You didn't reveal that I ordered the abduction, did you?" His voice thundered, echoing through the chamber with a menacing intensity.

"No, Your Majesty, we kept our silence," they hastily assured him, their voices quivering with dread.

In the midst of their conversation, a guard burst into the chamber, his urgency palpable. "My Lord, the seer has arrived."

"Allow him entry," the king commanded, his tone dripping with icy authority. He took a sip of blood from a golden cup, his gaze piercing as the seer entered, bowing low with reverence. The seer's presence exuded an aura of solemnity as he spoke.

"My king, today is the day the chosen one shall be found," the seer declared solemnly.

The king's brows furrowed with suspicion as his gaze fell upon the silver stone atop the seer's staff. "Are they truly on our side?" he muttered, his voice tinged with skepticism. "How dare you bring silver into my chambers!" he bellowed, his fury erupting like a volcano.

"I beg your forgiveness, Your Majesty," the seer murmured, barely audible above the king's rage.

"No forgiveness shall be granted," the king proclaimed, his grip tightening around the seer's heart as he ripped it out with a merciless smile.

Content with his display of power, the king turned to his men with steely resolve. "Ensure that the girl is brought here today. She holds the key to bringing Daxion and Logan to their knees."

"But, Your Majesty, I fear it may not be feasible," one of the men dared to voice his concern, his words hesitant.

"Fortify yourselves for the task at hand," the king commanded, his gaze unwavering. "Daxion, Daxion, I will see you humbled. You have stolen what is rightfully mine."

With a sinister laugh echoing through the chamber, the king plotted his next move, his mind already spinning with dark schemes and machinations.

**Logan's POV:**

The journey to his father's camp was fraught with anticipation and uncertainty. Each step through the dense forest felt heavy with the weight of responsibility, the sounds of wildlife echoing his own tumultuous thoughts.

Approaching the camp, Logan was met with a scene that sent a shiver down his spine. The gathered wolves whispered among themselves, their murmurs casting doubt upon his leadership.

As he stood before them, Logan's resolve solidified. He would not let their doubts shake him. With a determined gaze, he addressed his pack, his voice unwavering.

"My proud pack," he began, his tone steady despite the storm raging within him, "THIS ENDS TONIGHT!"

With a roar that pierced the night air, Logan challenged anyone who dared to question his authority. "IS THERE ANYONE AMONG YOU WHO QUESTIONS MY PLACE AS ALPHA? WHO WOULD CHALLENGE ME HERE AND NOW, TONIGHT??!! SPEAK NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE!"

But as the silence stretched on, Logan felt a wave of relief wash over him. Despite the doubts that lingered, his pack remained steadfast in their loyalty. One by one, they bowed their heads in submission, reaffirming their allegiance to him.
