The Unsettling Video Chat

Yinlin loves to go online and enjoys watching videos. One day, while alone at home, he saw a video call from an unfamiliar female online friend. He clicked on the video, wanting to see who the other person was.

After a few attempts at clicking, all of them were rejected by the other side. Yinlin continued to click, just for fun, and the other person sent a message: "Will you regret it after watching?"

Yinlin replied with a message: "I won't regret it."

The video call connected, and Yinlin saw a girl with bangs, heavy makeup, and face covered in viper, looking somewhat like a makeup-covered corpse.

Yinlin was somewhat frightened and tried to turn off the video. The girl sent a message: "It's already too late now."

Suddenly, the video went completely dark, and Yinlin's heart raced. On the computer desktop, Yinlin found a photo that made him scream. It was the same girl he had just been video chatting with.

In a rush, Yinlin put the photo into the recycling bin and emptied it. He looked around the house and couldn't find the girl, but he couldn't shake the feeling that she was hiding somewhere. He desperately wondered, "Where could that girl who looked like a corpse be hiding?"

Someone knocked on the door outside, and it was Yinlin's father returning home. Yinlin quickly opened the door, and his father was taken aback, then apologetically said, "Oh, I'm sorry, miss, I entered the wrong room."
