Occult Research Club
As the meeting continued in the occult research club, Michael took the floor, his voice resonating with authority and seriousness. "We must remember that in the last great war, both God and Lucifer were killed. With these two key figures absent, there is no longer a reason for us to continue fighting amongst ourselves."
His statement was met with murmurs of agreement from those present in the room. Serefall, beside him, nodded in support of Michael's words, acknowledging the logic behind Azazel's proposal.
"Indeed, Michael is correct. Without the leadership of God and Lucifer, there is no longer a reason to reject Azazel's offer of peace," added Serefall, her voice calm and measured.
Azazel nodded in approval before turning his attention to Issei and Vali. "And what about you, Sekiryuutei and Hakuryuukou? What are your thoughts on this matter?"
"For me, all that matters is the pursuit of strong opponents. If peace means there will be no more challenges, then I fail to see how that could be beneficial for me," stated Vali bluntly.
Azazel frowned, confronting Vali's direct perspective. "I understand your position, but during periods of peace, it's often possible to find new forms of growth and challenge. Chaos and war are not always necessary to find worthy adversaries."
Issei was taken aback by Azazel's sudden question and found himself momentarily speechless. He had not deeply considered the issue of peace versus war and was struggling to find a suitable response.
"I... I never thought about it before," admitted Issei, his expression reflecting his confusion. "I've always been focused on protecting my friends and fighting threats, but the idea of lasting peace... is something new to me."
Azazel nodded understandingly, acknowledging the honesty in Issei's words. "Don't worry, Sekiryuutei. It's a complex issue, and each of us may have a different perspective on the matter."
Underworld
Katerea Leviathan, an imposing figure in the underworld, was anxiously awaiting her subordinates to bring Gasper to her. Her mind was buzzing with plans to use the young vampire's powers to disrupt the long-awaited peace meeting between the factions.
"Why is it taking so long to bring the boy to me?" Katerea growled impatiently at her subordinates who surrounded her.
Her subordinates exchanged looks, feeling the weight of the pressure imposed by their leader. They knew they couldn't afford to fail in their mission to capture Gasper, but finding the target and bringing him to the underworld was proving more difficult than anticipated.
Katerea let out a frustrated sigh, her sharp claws itching with impatience. She was determined to disrupt the peace meeting and spread chaos among the factions, and Gasper's unique power would be her trump card to achieve that goal.
Katerea impatiently awaited news from her subordinates. Her frustration grew with each passing moment without receiving updates on the success of her mission.
Finally, one of her subordinates arrived with a grim expression, bringing news that Katerea did not want to hear. "We regret to inform, my lady, but we have lost contact with the group that was to kidnap the half-vampire."
Katerea's rage reached a new level. She roared furiously, her fangs bared in an expression of uncontrollable fury. "How dare you disappoint me in this way? This was a simple plan, and you were unable to execute it successfully!"
Her subordinates cowered before Katerea's anger, fearing for their lives. They knew there were severe consequences for those who disappointed her, and now they were about to face the wrath of their leader.
"Prepare for a new mission," ordered Katerea with a cold voice, her determination renewed despite the setback. "The peace meeting cannot be allowed to continue. We need to initiate the attack on the meeting as soon as possible!"
Riser's Mansion
Training Room
"System, does a vampire's blood have any utility?" inquired Riser, his voice echoing in the silent chamber as he maintained his cold and calculating gaze.
The System, responding to Riser's inquiry, began its analysis of the available data. After a few moments of processing, the response came in a solemn and calculated tone.
"The most useful way to utilize a vampire's blood is through blending the vampire's blood with the host's blood to generate a new lineage of vampire. This new lineage would be stronger and loyal to the host, providing them with a significant advantage in battle and increasing their influence over subordinate vampires," explained the System, providing Riser with a viable strategy to enhance his power and expand his influence.
Riser's eyes gleamed with interest upon hearing the System's response. He immediately recognized the potential of this approach and began to devise a plan to implement it. "System, how much would it cost to use a vampire's blood and mine to create a new lineage?"
The System promptly responded, its voice resonating in Riser's mind. "Creating a new lineage of vampire, using the blood of the vampire and the host, requires a cost of 500 luck points."
Riser considered the information provided by the System. He knew that luck points were a valuable resource, but the prospect of strengthening his vampire army was too tempting to ignore.
Riser decided to check the status of his luck points and any updates on his abilities.
"Ding gained +250 luck points for killing 5 Magi.
Ding gained +300 points for changing the plot."
The revelation of obtaining luck points left Riser satisfied.
With this new information in mind, Riser decided to review his current situation in the System. He focused on his own profile, seeking updates on his statistics and abilities.

Riser, after verifying that he had enough luck points, decided to initiate his plan to blend his blood with Gasper's to create a new lineage of vampire. "System, initiate the process to blend my blood with Gasper's."
The System, always ready to fulfill Riser's requests, asked if he was certain he wanted to spend 500 luck points to start the procedure.
Riser confirmed with a firm "yes," determined to proceed with his plan. He was willing to pay the necessary price to achieve his goal of strengthening his vampire army.
The System announced, "-500 luck points initiating procedure."
Riser felt a strange sensation coursing through his body as blood was drained from his veins and mixed with Gasper's, who was unconscious and motionless before him. He watched attentively as Gasper's body shriveled, his blood being completely absorbed in the process.
After the procedure was completed, the System announced. "Phenex's vampire blood is in the inventory."
Riser's gaze traveled over Gasper's pale and fragile body, whose breathing was almost imperceptible.
With a swift and decisive motion, Riser focused his fire magic in his palm and directed it towards Gasper's body. An intense flame engulfed the young vampire's body, consuming him quickly until all that remained were ashes.
The flame extinguished, leaving behind only traces of ashes where Gasper had been. Riser looked at the spot where the young vampire had been, a grim determination on his face.
"Rest in peace, Gasper. You will no longer need to suffer," murmured Riser, his words laden with sorrow for the fate of the young vampire.
Ding + 200 luck points for killing an important character for the plot.
