DxD: Mechanic's Scrapyard

A street rat with an uncanny affinity for machines reincarnates into a world he, now she, has no knowledge of. Being a child again in the wrong gender at that was a bit weird, but that was nothing compared to finding out what sort of beings she was now living amongst. She shrugged her shoulders "Well as long as they don't mess with my scrapyard." --- Author Note: Just a disclaimer for those who don't like OP MC's, she will be pretty OP and I don't really like situations where stories forces the MC to go against someone they literally have no chance of winning against. For those curious about Romance? I don't know, pretty much nothing is planned, however if I do decide to try, the love interest will also be female. The Cover picture is Jona from Alchemy Stars.

Chapter 40 - Dynamic Entry

Okita stood behind his king in the massive spectator hall looking over the battlefield of today's rating game while the two participating groups were preparing themselves elsewhere. Glancing around the room he saw various VIPs slowly trickling in, the Phenex head proudly strutted inside with his wife following behind him before being completely ignored when everyone saw Serafall and Ajuka arriving.

Although he invited Koko because he felt that she would be a bit curious to see how a rating game worked, when he told Sirzechs his king had a slight panic attack thinking of Ophis suddenly popping up until he reassured him that it would be fine.

Koko had apparently created another dimension hoping to elevate another being to the Super-class for a fight, however seeing how long it was taking she got bored and started fiddling with it somehow recreating a smaller version of the 'dimensional gap' or at least something emulating the same properties of it.

Ophis had quickly entered and occupied it though Okita would bet his left arm that she was still using some way to keep a constant watch on what Koko was doing.

Well, even after he told Sirzechs that Ophis wouldn't be coming he notified the other Satans of Koko's arrival since they didn't want anything that could provoke her 'mother' into action happening during her visit.

In the end Falbium was put on surveillance duty while Ajuka, Serafall and Sirzechs would keep an eye on things personally. Well this was also partly due to Ajuka's curiosity towards Koko and Sirzechs need to monitor Rias. Either way, 'three' of the four Satans making a public appearance didn't happen very often so everyone else present were surprised when they walked inside.

Sirzechs stood up from his seat when he saw them approaching them.

"Ajuka, Serafall." He he greeted with a light smile.

"Sirzechs." Ajuka nodded blankly while Serafall looked around the room not finding who she was expecting and turned towards Okita.

"Is she here yet?"

"Not yet, however she shouldn't be long now." Okita replied ponderingly, Koko had called him not long ago saying that she was on the way over and since they already knew that she could just enter the underworld whenever she wanted, they just gave her the coordinates to the spectator hall.

"Hmm." Serafall hummed as she twirled one of her twin tails around her fingers.

A few minutes later with no sign of Koko the group was slightly confused since the rating game was just about to start.

"Are you sure she got the right coordinates Okita?" Sirzechs asked as they heard Grayfia acting as today's commentator start announcing the participants, where the battle would take place and the stakes that hung on the match.

"I am." Okita answered in slight confusion, he didn't think Koko would be late on purpose because she sounded curious of how a rating game was usually done and had repeatedly messaged him asking when it would start, he had a feeling she was just doing so out of boredom, though.

Reaching into the sleeve of his kimono Okita took out the walkie talkie and was just about to call Koko to ask where she was when a communication spell appeared next to Sirzechs' ear.

"Hmm, Falbium? What's wrong?" Sirzechs asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"Uh... yeah... I think there's something falling down from the sky. It feels pretty powerful so I might need some help out here, the barrier's not gonna hold." Falbium's lethargic voice tinged with slight seriousness was heard from the magic circle.

The faces of the three Satans turned serious to various degrees, Ajuka's eyes sharpened slightly, Sirzechs frowned in thought while Serafall's cheerful side disappeared completely. Although it wouldn't come close to Falbium's Absolute Defense, he was in no way a slouch in Barrier magic either.

If he wasn't confident that he could hold on by himself whatever was approaching was extremely dangerous if even with his Satan-class strength he thought the barrier would break, and with alot of the devil nobility being present to watch the rating game this could end really, really badly.

"Is Rizevim acting up?" Sirzechs muttered to himself as a severe light flashed past his narrowed blue eyes.

"Highly unlikely." Ajuka said placidly as various graphs started appearing in the air around him, his eyes quickly reading through them wihle his face stayed an unchanging blank mask.

"Less speculating, more doing. We'll be there in a bit Falbium." Serafall said as she twirled her staff as the communication spell fizzled out and was just about to activate a teleportation spell when the serious situation was broken by the sound of Okita's walkie talkie ringing.

"Hmm?" Okita raised an eyebrow as he answered the call making the Satans look over.

"Century Geezer!" Koko's shout immediately rang out though there was a kind of muffling effect slightly masking the sound of her voice making her sound like she was speaking in the distance.

"Koko?"

"Are you in that big important looking building?"

"I suppose so?" Okita answered in slight uncertainty as he looked around, a 'big important looking building' was a pretty wide description in general, but seeing as the devil nobility wasn't really big on the whole modesty thing, the various golden decorations spread throughout the room and building being pretty telling, he'd say it would fit pretty nicely in that category.

"Kay!"

"Anyway, are you on the way Koko? The rating game is just about to start, you know?" Okita questioned as Grayfia was just about done, about to announce the start of the match.

"Yep, I'm already there!"

"Where?"

"In the sky!"

"..." The atmosphere stilled as the Satans processed her words.

"Falbium! Falbium!"

Okita ignored Sirzechs attempts at frantically re-connecting the communication spell as he looked up at the ceiling. Not long after he could hear something getting louder and louder sounding like it was approaching from the distance, a few seconds later it got clear enough that he could recognize Koko's voice yelling excitedly with small giggles mixed in.

"Wheeeee~!"

Okita felt the world slow as the sound of the barrier surrounding the building getting destroyed rang out, reminding him of glass breaking. Not long after cracks spread throughout the ceiling before it looked like something started pushing onto it from above, eventually going through it sending bits and pieces of the roof flying around the room.

He then saw Koko's figure quickly following the rubble the majority of which fell down on the unlucky devil standing just below where she broke through, getting buried under wreckage and dust with a loud sound as he let out a high-pitched scream that was abruptly cut off when a big piece hit him in the face.

The room turned deadly silent as everyone looked towards the large pile of rubble and the tall redheaded human laying on top of it in stunned confusion.

Koko propped herself up on her arms as she looked around curiously before spotting him, starting to scramble her way off the pile beneath her just as the temperature shot up, the glow of fire lighting up through the cracks of the wreckage as a head popped out of it.

"Who dares attack a Phenex in broad dayl-!?" The Phenex head demanded furiously with a fierce scowl on his face before being cut off by Koko's boot kicking him in the face trying to get some leverage leaving a big muddy imprint onto it as his previously flaring flames fizzled out at the same time.

Koko seemingly hadn't even noticed him as she bounded over to where he was standing while waving happily, leaving a trail of dirt behind her on the floor.

"Century Geezer!"
