DxD: Mechanic's Scrapyard

A street rat with an uncanny affinity for machines reincarnates into a world he, now she, has no knowledge of. Being a child again in the wrong gender at that was a bit weird, but that was nothing compared to finding out what sort of beings she was now living amongst. She shrugged her shoulders "Well as long as they don't mess with my scrapyard." --- Author Note: Just a disclaimer for those who don't like OP MC's, she will be pretty OP and I don't really like situations where stories forces the MC to go against someone they literally have no chance of winning against. For those curious about Romance? I don't know, pretty much nothing is planned, however if I do decide to try, the love interest will also be female. The Cover picture is Jona from Alchemy Stars.

Chapter 14 - Everything Is Fine

Getting back down into the base Koko entered her workshop space and started working on a machine that would scan her biological structure, find the waste DNA and then replace it with Beo's before utilizing mana to assimilate them together and strengthen her being fundamentally.

Finishing it a while later Koko wiped the sweat that had formed with a rag while exiting the workshop space with a satisfied expression on her face and a skip in her step. A she started walking towards the training space she had built accompanied by the sound of her boots rapping against the metal floor of the corridor, Koko had another thought.

If she was going to be making new rooms connected to her underground base so often, why not make it easier for her? Thinking up a few solutions she eventually settled on something that would essentially project a large field encompassing her scrapyard, underground base and a few kilometers of the surrounding area and make it so that she could shift the terrain as she wanted mimicking earth magic.

The only problem with that was that she hadn't yet found any earth magic she felt was good enough for the protection of her scrapyard and so, gained another goal for her outing.

Finding something powerful and scaning it's earth magic.

---

Arriving in the training space Koko walked to a corner of the room and pixelated the DNA integrator. It basically looked like a capsule with arms made of mismatched metals with another section sticking out of it's side. Walking up she handed one of the arms the tube with Beo's blood before opening the hatch, took off her clothes and entered before closing it again while the arm stuck the tube into the section connected to it's side.

Laying down inside Koko turned off the passive TT field that she had running just underneath her skin before mentally starting the machine which let out a mechanical whine before a blue scanner ran up and down her body a few times. Done a few moments later the light flashed green before the space was filled with fluid as Koko slowly closed her eyes and fell asleep.

---

Waking up a while later Koko's eyes gradually opened and blinked slightly as the fluid started draining from the capsule. Laying there for a bit to get a feel for the changes Koko felt her body being filled with power as she clenched her fist, though it was trumped by the overwhelming feeling of life and vitality practically radiating from her being, like standing in the spring breeze on a warm day Koko felt like she'd been reborn light as a feather.

Breathing in and out Koko suppressed the sudden impulse to start bench pressing Beo as she opened the hatch. Stepping out she stretched slightly while the liquid mana dripped down her toned body and fell on the ground. Jumping on the spot slightly, limbering up, Koko had an excited smile on her face as she took a running position while the machine pixelated behind her.

Looking towards the other end of the training space she pushed off with her foot and instantly disappeared with the sound of a bullet as winds started whipping around her previous position. Feeling the wind blowing against her face Koko laughed happily, appearing on the other side of the massive room barely a few seconds later, Koko didn't even feel any drain on her stamina.

However as she was running she felt slightly off balance for some reason, Koko scratched her head in confusion as she went to get a mirror. Returning a few moments later she placed it on the wall before taking a step back. Looking over her body she had gained a few centimeters in height, now standing at 1.90m tall, her breasts had also gotten a bit bigger though nothing compared to her hips which had flared out even more. Her hair had also changed slightly gaining a few black tufts mixed in and getting a bit longer and wilder. Taking a step closer she saw that her eyes had also gotten a bit fiercer and beastlike.

Humming while looking over herself she tapped her chin in thought. If she had met herself on the street she'd guess she was probably in her early to mid twenties which was a weird to think about since she her body was biologically only 14 years old. No really, she had made a machine that checked biological age before because she was curious if OGB had made her 1000 years old or something. Important questions are important because they're important and important things should be mentioned multiple times because they're important.

Eventually shrugging Koko went to get her clothes.

"Welp, it feels a bit weird to grow so suddenly but it'll be fine in a few minutes. Adapting to this is easier than shrinking at least."

...

Standing in the middle of the training space again a few minutes later Koko activated the gravity amplifier and continued increasing the gravity bit by bit.

"Hmm I definitely got stronger since I can go much higher this time." Koko tilted her head slightly as she moved around the room.

Dialing it up even further she eventually started feeling the strain, she felt her muscles start tearing before reknitting itself stronger and tougher an instant later. Feeling the beginning of a manic smile slowly growing on her face Koko turned it up even further to the point she was on the verge of crushing her body, however, she didn't care, she'd just come back stronger.

A few days later Okita was walking on the road leading through the forest on the way to the girl he'd found had slightly wormed her way into his heart. Though he supposed drilling into his heart suited Koko more in general. Making his way through the forest he eventually saw the familiar gate as he approached, he stretching his hand to open it he suddenly froze as he felt as if something extremely dangerous just locked onto him.

Staying still for a few moments he very, very slowly looked up in the direction he could feel the source of the gaze coming from while making himself seem as non-threatening as possible.

"..."

"Is that a dragon with sunglasses?"

Okita suddenly had the inexplicable urge to pray for mercy to whatever deity he'd slighted that resulted in this curse of declining mental health. Seeing the dragon eventually lose interest and going back to basking in the sun he breathed a sigh of relief. Tentatively reaching towards the gate while keeping an eye on it just in case it took offence, he slowly opened it and entered before closing it behind him.

Reaching into his pocket while walking towards the outdoors area of the scrapyard, he took out what looked like a walkie-talkie and pressed the button on it's side. Waiting for a few moments Koko's usual excited voice was eventually heard, though there was a slight tone of physical strain which gradually appeared as she talked.

"Century Geezer!"

"Hello Koko." Okita said with a slight smile. He had gotten alot better at keeping up with Koko, his solution? Just let her do whatever she wanted and sort of just weather the storm that is Koko.

"Are you at the scrapyard right now?" Koko asked nonchalantly as an explosion rang out from behind her accompanied by a scream.

"I am, yes." Okita replied with a serene air around him.

"Kay, I'll be there soon so just wait a bit!" Koko's side cut as a roar was heard before suddenly getting interrupted accompanied with a meaty thud like something was punched and sent flying.

Storing the device back into his pocket as he arrived at his usual chair he sat down after getting another holy grail from the holy grail Koko had left there. Slightly glancing to the side of him at the sunglass wearing dragon sunbathing he popped the cork before taking a sip while relaxing.

"This is fine, everything is fine."
