The End

"Since when did you learn to make food? *slurp* It is good as well. How did I miss the news that you actually can make delicious food? Care to explain, Tamamo?" Sukuna asked in wonder, while still eating what was left on the plate.

A few days after the meeting, Sukuna decided that he will turn himself into a Cursed Object. The process itself was not painful or anything, and it was pretty fast as well, but... Tamamo was annoying.

She said that she wants to be with him for a few days after Sukuna explained to her that he will be in this form for at least a hundred years.

"I learned to make it from my human parents. They had a small restaurant in the capital, and I was sometimes helping them with different tasks. After some practice from my side, my mother acknowledged my food as a first ranked food and made me a chef in the said restaurant. It was pretty fun back then..." Tamamo answered with a little bit sad tone. Even though she despises most of the humans, she for certain knows that not all of them are bad. Especially those who took care of her, when she was reincarnated as a human.

Sukuna ignored her tone and said nonchalantly: "Your mother certainly had a good taste in food. Yeah, I think I should eat more food from now onwards. Hmm... I now have to wait for at least hundreds of years to try it... But... *slurp* " Sukuna took yet another bite. "Yeah, that is definitely one of the reasons I should get a better body."

Tamamo giggled slightly at the praise that he made about her food. "By the way, I never saw you eating before... Or my food is just that good that others do not deserve to even be mentioned by you?~" She tried to tease him slightly.

"Hmm..." Sukuna was left in thought for a moment, before answering: "I rarely eat. I just do not need to, just like you. The last time I ate was like a few years ago. The food there was not that bad, but it definitely can not be compared to your food... Now that I think about it better, I actually liked to eat food, especially in my childhood, but it seems like I forgot about it. Never liked to make it myself though, too much of a hassle."

"Never knew you would have such unique... liking to something..." She trailed off.

"Hmm? It is just that I never told you before. Food is just good. Can not understand why I would not like it?" He asked in confusion. Though he understood where she is coming from.

"Fufufu, really~? I thought that you can only be a King of Curses, and massacre people wherever you go. Seems like I was wrong for all years I have been with you~." And just like Sukuna thought, Tamamo thinks about him as a killing machine. Though he understood rather easily that she was saying that in a sarcastic manner.

"Aren't you the same? Though I must say, the way you are playing with humans differs from mine. Not that it matters. Sometimes even I start having thoughts about pitying those fools that you are playing with. They can not even die properly..." He remembered seeing some of her so-called "toys". They looked so pitiful, that even a hungry dog would look happier and better than them.

" *cough* T-that is not the same." Tamamo coughed awkwardly. She then cast a sad look on him and said: "...Is it time already?"

"It truly is. Only you will accompany me though. I can not trust anyone besides you with this task." Sukuna then stood up and slowly started walking away, while Tamamo was silently following him.

They were in the middle of the whole Cursed Kingdom, the Palace. Sukuna made a chamber under the palace, just for this ritual. He will turn his whole body into a cursed object, which will be then cut into pieces by Tamamo, and then she will drop them somewhere, where the negative emotions are the most. Of course for safety measures, half of his body will be left in the chamber.

It also has to be mentioned that under the Cursed Kingdom, are buried thousands upon thousands of corpses. Those corpses are constantly producing negative emotions, thanks to which, curses are naturally stronger here. Those emotions will also supply Sukunas' body, which will make him stronger over time.

When they only started building up the Cursed Kingdom, Sukuna also charged some of the smartest Cursed Spirits and Curse Users to make an alternative source of Cursed Energy and negative emotions. Even though corpses were one way to go, it was still quite troubling to get even more dead bodies. As a kingdom was growing, the number of resources that were being used was also naturally growing.

While they were walking through dark corridors, that was lit up only slightly by lanterns, Tamamo looked at Sukunas' back with a sad gaze and bit her bottom lip. She truly did not want him to leave her for a such long period of time. Even if it was a selfish request of her, she could not surpass it. She grew so accustomed to his presence over years, that for her it was only natural to stay with him.

It also did not help that Sukuna somehow grew more sympathetic towards her. When she first met him, he was mostly cold, and his words were a bit harsh, but over time it changed. He now would easily show normal expressions, and even laugh with her at some jokes that they made. Even though Sukuna is not a human, she feels better with him, rather than with humans.

She chose humans as a race to reincarnate, so she could have fun, participate in interesting situations in life, and enjoy all those varieties of emotions, even if those emotions had to be of sorrow and despair. Yet, now here she is, living her life to the fullest, without being a human nor living with them either. Fate truly likes to make some ironic turns in life.

After walking for quite some time, they finally arrived at a majestic yet creepy chamber. It was not that huge if compared to the palace itself, but it was still big enough to house at least a hundred people. The room had several candles lit up and a huge altar in the middle. The room was also masterfully adorned by some skulls of animals. Even some rare species could be seen like a bull skull, that actually belonged to the minotaur, dragons, wyverns, and many more.

Sukuna actually liked collecting different skulls, as he had a pretty huge variety of them in the palace. For him, it seemed like a nice hobby– to collect skulls of different species and decorate his own palace with them. But for others, it might seem to be a bit creepy. Though there are a lot of others who do some even weirder things, so Sukunas' little hobby can even be considered pretty kind and heartwarming.

After observing the room that he made himself for some time, Sukuna moved towards the stairs that lead him to the top of the altar, while Tamamo was tagging along. Sukuna then proceeded to lay on top of the altar and started slowly accumulating all his Cursed Energy. As some of his energy leaked out, a room shook in tremor. Thankfully the room was reinforced by Tamamos' magic beforehand, otherwise, the whole palace might just fall apart.

As Sukuna was concentrating all of his energy on his body, his body started forcefully changing. His skin wrinkled and became darker in color. Even some faces that were screaming in horror appeared on some parts of his body. He now looked like a really terrifying mummy. Only his head was still looking normal.

"Hey Tamamo! Wake up! Cut me into pieces! I do not even care how wrong it sounds right now." He yelled towards Tamamo. He had to check if it is all fine or not. But even after some time, he saw that his body was still intact. "Did you fell asleep there?! Maybe I–" He was suddenly cut off when something touched his lips. It was a soft sensation that he has never felt before. And even though it lasted only for a moment, for him it was a really long time.

He then glanced towards Tamamo who had tears in the corner of her eyes. "Be back soon, please..." She said in a shaky voice.

'Huh... Women are strange creatures after all...' Were his last thoughts, before he lost his consciousness.

When Tamamo saw that Sukuna lost consciousness, she slumped down on his body and started crying rivers of tears. She knew that this process had to be done, but for her, living without Sukuna for hundred of years was truly an unbearable thought.

She remained in such a position for at least an hour. She then slowly stood up with red eyes from crying and saw that his head was also already transformed like the rest of his body. She then used magic to cut his body into pieces and put all of his body parts into the own extended space. She also destroyed the altar that Sukuna was lying on, and slowly left the room.

The altar was here so she could cut his body in the first place. Sukuna predicted that after his body will turn into a cursed object, it will be pretty much indestructible. There are of course beings who could easily annihilate his body, but they do not have any slightest interest in Sukuna, or they just do not know about his existence.

But even if a method to destroy his body would appear, Tamamo still has half of his body with her, and it will be later guarded by the whole Cursed Kingdom. It also has to be mentioned that over time, his body parts will grow stronger and stronger, making them even harder to destroy.

-Meanwhile, inside of the Sukunas' consciousness-

Sukuna woke up in his usual kimono and looked around. He looked at the small mountain of skulls that was in front of him. He was standing in some red water, that clearly resembled the color of blood, though it was not. He immediately recognized this as his innate domain. Right now he was in his so-called mind, soul to be precise.

He then disappeared from the spot and appeared on the top of the skulls. He then proceeded to sit down. If someone looked at him right now, they would easily say that the title of the King of Curses was truly befitting him.

"Hahh~..." He exhaled heavily. "It seems like I am stuck here for long now... I should try to somehow strengthen my soul... Would be quite boring to sit here for hundred years without at least somehow feeling the world from the outside." As he said that, he closed his eyes, sat in a peculiar way, and started meditating.

He has not met any being yet that could attack a soul directly, but it was always an option. Sukuna knows that the stronger you grow, the stronger your soul gets, and vice versa. Even though if your soul is too strong, then your body won't have time to adapt to a soul, and the body will just explode, killing a person in the process. But he can adapt his body to his own soul quite easily, so it should not be a huge problem.

"I still wonder what is this... Constantly strengthening my soul... Fear and... hope? Hahaha. Never thought that this would be something like this... Interesting, very interesting..." Sukuna mumbled and then laughed. He would have never thought that others could help him with strengthening himself. No wonder those gods always want to have more believers than they already do...
