The Grand Hammer

In Colosseum. At the seat reserved for tournament contestant

Edward was watching the fight between two beastman.

He could feel his heart beating faster and faster even after the fight was finished.

Edward looked at the winner of the fight, Adam majestic figure standing tall in the middle of the Colosseum amidst cheers of the audience shouting his name

He basically dominated the entire battle from the start to finish,Edward burned the fight into his mind as he clench his fist.

"Mr. Edward and Mr. Dave, please come this way"

The staff called him and Dave as the second match is about to begin.

They followed the guide until they arrive at the intersection.

Mr. Edward, please take the left turn and Mr. Edward will take the Right turn"

The staff turn back after finishing his job leaving Dave and Edward at the intersection

Edward looked at Dave figure, He was a giant of a man with a body of Greek god.

Dave yellow eyes stare back at Edward while he flicks his blue hair in flamboyantly

"Hey pips quick, do me a favor, and just surrender"

"What?"

"I saw you and your wolf friend fighting at the drawing room and I agree with him, you should surrender while you can and relieving me from the chore of finishing you off"

Edward stare Dave while gritting his teeth in anger

"Listen here you piece of shit, First that guy was not my friend you better check your eyes to a doctor and Second, If you still want to stay alive then shut your fucking mouth this instant"

Dave looking him in confusion, He didn't think this pips quick actually dare to talk back to him.

"Hmm, Don't say I didn't warn you, Don't cry on me when I beat you to pulp later pips quick"

"Just the way I want it than, you better prepare for a beating of a lifetime Dave"

They stare each other for one last time before part their way and walked to their respective corridor

Edward was steaming as he walk, He can't wait to punch Dave in the face.

He walked while fantasizing many ways to beat Dave and before he knew it he arrived at his destination.

He walked pass the arch door and entered the main arena in the Colosseum and forget about his anger for a moment.

The spectacle stunned him for a moment, He was overwhelmed by all the spectator watching him from their seat.

He was basically drowned by all the noise shouted by the spectators.

"Da ha ha, look at yourself you got stunned silly before we even begin fighting"

Edward awake from his stunned state and looked at his opponent

Dave walked with confidence as he carries a giant sledge hammer over his shoulder. It was a wonder how he hasn't tilted to one side carrying it like that, the hammer head as big as a truck tire after all.

Edward can't imagine what kind of strength required to swing a hammer that big.

"Da ha ha, Got a cold feet already, it's too late for regret buddy this baby will make a short work out of you"

Dave said as he lift the giant hammer, his muscle was bulging dangerously as he lift the hammer, pronouncing how much strength required to use the giant hammer.

Blood rushing to Edward head as he forget about the spectator and was only looking at Dave and his giant hammer, ready to pummel Dave no matter what it takes to prove him wrong.

"THE SECOND MATCH IS ABOUT TO BEGIN"

"LAUGHING FIST EDWARD WILL FIGHT AGAINST THE GRAND HAMMER DAVE"

"WILL THE HAMMER CRUSH HIS OPPONENT OR THE FIST GET THE LAST LAUGH, LET'S FIND OUT IN THIS SECOND MATCH"

"ARE YOU READYYYY"

"BEGINNN"

Edward rushed toward Dave as soon as the fight begun, his face curl up little by little.

He can finally unleash all his power here, at the preliminary round thanks to the no killing rule, Edward tried his best to limit his strength as much as he could, but now in the real tournament, He won't hold back.

Edward belief Dave could take his punch he looks sturdy after all, and if Dave can't take it.

Well, let's just say it will be a happy little accident

"Ha ha ha ha"

Edward gear started to change, his previous irritating feeling gone in an instant, He was now as happy as a clam as he run toward Dave without a care in the world.

Dave in other hand just standing in his place and waiting for Edward to come to him.

(What an idiot, he actually fell for such cheap provocation)

Dave was a smart guy, his main tactic was to wait for the opponent to come toward him and finish them all with a smack of his hammer, but who would have been stupid enough to just rush toward him knowing he got such an intimidating weapon with him.

Dave knows that to and that's way he usually hides his hammer in his inventory and fake his weapon to something less threatening and when they fell for it, BAM he would take out his hammer and gave them a very nice surprise.

It won't work this time though as the stupid title tradition ruin the surprise, so, he needs to adapt a little and do something like provoking his opponent, who would have thought it works wonder on this stupid guy.

Edward fell hook, line and sinker with just a little provocation.

Dave smile in his heart as he wait for Edward to enter his range

(His laugh is quite disturbing thought)

Even though Dave was quite disturbed by Edward smiling face, It won't be for long as soon as he got smacked by his hammer the fight is basically over.

Edward finally entered Dave range of attack

Dave tighten his muscle and swing his hammer vertically toward Edward.

*BAAAMMM*

He heard a satisfying voice as his hammer strikes Edward with no room for doubt.

(With this I won the ticket to the next round, my next opponent would be that strong tiger, what tactic will be better use against him thought)

While Dave was thinking his next match he ignored everything around him or maybe he just didn't want to admit the situation he was currently experience.

Dave hammer flies through the air as it rotate round and round before landing with a loud noise somewhere in the Colosseum arena.

Edward left hand was quite bloody after he punched the hammer away from Dave hand.

His full powered punch is so strong that his body can't bear it, but for now that didn't matter.

The only important thing for Edward right now was to beat the shit out of this guy.

"Ha ha ha ha"

Edward take a stance and punch the still dazed Dave with his fine right hand.

"HARD PUNCH"

He delivered his ultimate finishing move with absolute vigor as he laugh.

Dave giant body was forcefully blown out and crashed to the wall of the Colosseum arena ending his journey in this tournament.

The audience struck in awe by Edward strength as they looked at the not moving body of Dave.

"WE HAVE A WINNER"

"THAT WAS UNEXPECTED WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THE LAUGHING FIST ACTUALLY HIDING SUCH A POWER IN HIS BODY, THE GRAND HAMMER GOT SEND TO THE KINGDOM COME BY JUST ONE PUNCH"

The audience finally come to their sense gave cheers to the winner.

"WITH THIS WE HAVE A SECOND CONTESTANT WHO SECURED THE TICKET TO THE SECOND ROUND"
