"Owww... it hurts..."

I cried out as I writhed on the hard gymnasium floor.

"Let's give a round of applause to Makoto Akaya, our top-tier skill user," announced Hanyu-sensei, emerging from the sports equipment room. He didn't seem too damaged... surprisingly.

The chime signaling the end of the class rang out.

"And that concludes today's lesson on Defense Theory Against Anomalous Attacks. Starting next week, we'll be holding parties twice a week. Be sure to attend!" 

Ignoring me, lying on the ground, Hanyu-sensei began dismissing the students.

I noticed a pair of cold, icy eyes staring down at me. As usual.

"Your reputation has taken another hit. What a pathetic sight. But then again, this is so typical of you, Akaya-kun."

"Hanyu-sensei was just too strong; it's not like my stock has dropped..."

"Your stock was already at rock bottom. If it crashes any further, you'll be a disgrace as a human being."
