Invisible hands seemed to propel his legs forward as he approached the rooftop's edge. He was certain his heart would stop if he jumped from such a height.
Climbing onto the edge, the city's breeze brushed against his face, blowing his clothes behind him. His eyes fixed on the distant skyscrapers silhouetted against the orange moon, each blink seeming to draw him closer to the precipice. Seung let out a soft sigh, vibrations tingling at the back of his neck.
"Let's end this now," he whispered resolutely. Seung took a step forward on the narrow ledge.
Suddenly, heavy footsteps echoed from behind. He paused for a moment to look back.
"Why are you doing this, Seung?!" Jaemin shouted, his face etched with concern. Taking a deep breath, he stepped closer, trying to calm him. "I have an idea. Let's sit down and talk about everything, okay?"
Jinhu also took a step forward. He told Seung, "He's right. I know you don't really want to do this."
