30 mins later...

The house was away from the highway road at the right side. You need to enter a small road and go to the end with it.

The car arrived in front of a simple house. The house is just a simple 9x7 sqm. basic home, with two windows at the front with the door at the center. It has a grass lawn at the front yard with a pavement going to the door.

There are no neighbors just vacant plots of land and the back was just a forest, perfect for his cultivation.

Alex got out of the car and expressed his gratitude to the driver. The driver then gave him the keys of the house and drove away.

He entered house and observe what was inside.

The interior has a basic look. There is a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and a wood ladder to the rooftop. The walls are painted white. There is also a door going to the backyard.

The only furniture in the house is a table and a chair. Next, in the bedroom there is a simple bed and a closet and basic kitchen utensils in the kitchen. Lastly, a toilet and a shower in the bathroom.

Alex's luggage is placed in the center as somewhat to be a living room in the future.

He looked at this watch and it's 5:30 pm. Dinner is near and he was in an almost desolate place. There still no stock of food since he didn't have time to buy groceries.

Alex decided to have dinner first then after clean the house and arrange his things.

He got out and walked for 10 mins and arrived at the highway. He looked around and noticed a small restaurant not far ahead.

He entered the restaurant and walked to the counter. The restaurant was small but has a comfortable and homely ambiance to it. Just simple decorations and tables and chairs. There are just a few costumer eating since it's still not time for dinner.

He ordered a rice set meal and paid for it.

After the meal he got up to walk out but glanced at the window and saw a recruitment notice.

The restaurant needs a waiter and saw the requirements and he fits them all. He decided to ask tomorrow.

He got home, cleaned the house and organized his things. He was tired from all the work and sat down on the chair, he gazed outside and saw the moon peeking out of the clouds. He glanced at his watch and found that it's almost 9 pm.

'I should sleep and go to the restaurant tomorrow.'

He got up from the chair and walked to his bedroom to rest.

He woke up in the morning, after cultivating in the forest, he walked inside the house and approached the window sill. A flower pot was placed at the edge of the window sill but there was no plant growing in there, that's where he planted the mysterious seed.

How many days has passed by but the seed has no signs of growing but he still persisted on watering it since the task gives EXP points.

He observed for a few moments and noticed that the seed didn't even budge.

He walked out from the house and arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later.

He entered the restaurant and approached the front desk.

He asked the cashier: "Can I ask about the recruitment notice outside? Is it still available?."

"Of course, Do you have the intention to apply?"

Alex nodded and the cashier asked him to wait for a moment and disappeared at the back.

He waited for a few moments and the cashier came back and brought a man. He guessed that he was the boss of this small restaurant. He was middle-aged and has a beard on his chin and pot-bellied, a normal physique for his age.

"Boy, I heard you want to apply for being a waiter at my resto?" the man asked.

"He is the boss of our restaurant, Mr. David." The cashier said.

Alex nodded.

"Are you currently studying now then?"

"No, sir."

"What's your name?"

"Alex Dorton sir."

Mr. David asked a couple question and hired him immediately. The boss told him to work tomorrow.

"We are not so strict with our hiring but we still need your résumé so that it can be a formal one. Don't worry you are hired now, I will ask Felix to remove the recruitment notice at the front." Felix was the cashier of the restaurant.

"Yes sir, I will not forget."

After achieving his goal in the restaurant, he grabbed a taxi to the supermarket to buy groceries and a couple of furniture. The subsidy was quite enough for this expenditure as long as you budget correctly.

The supermarket is just a small one in comparison to those in the city that is a size of a football field with many stores. If he has to describe it, it is just enough for people in the outskirts of the city.

He glanced around and found a plant shop near the furniture store.

He approached the shop and bought 7 seeds with pots and soil and 3 seedlings. Alex asked the saleslady if he can deliver the seedlings with furniture he bought next door and the sales lady agreed.

Alex got out of the supermarket 2 hours later and carried 2 large bags of groceries. The furniture and the seedlings will be delivered later by the store. He also bought a bike so he can avoid walking too much in the future. It's also convenient and cheap.

He arrived at his house and put the groceries in the kitchen. It's also time for lunch so he grabbed two packets of noodles and cooked it with a hot water.

The truck carrying the furniture arrived after he finished his lunch. He assisted and supervised the placement. Now, the house more looked liked a home. Just a little bit of time and it will look more homely and comfortable.

He took the seedlings and pots to the backyard and planted the remaining seeds.
