Previously, Ryan had never believed in fate. He always thought that destiny was only for those who had no purpose in life, thus making fate a scapegoat.
However, since meeting Jenna, he began to believe it. especially when it is fate that always surrounds them. As if they don't want them to live without each other. It's possible though, they don't know.
It could just be Ryan's feeling, who feels he is being toyed with by fate.
It seems natural that in the end Ryan overreacted, he was the one who felt so lost, even though Hellen certainly felt the same way.
Whatever the doctors were saying right now, it wasn't something he could believe. He wanted to be angry, but he didn't know who should receive his anger. Is it Hellen? Wasn't that woman actually suffering far more than him?
Or Jenna?
What does all this have to do with Jenna? Hadn't he already decided to quit, even before things turned out like this?
