Chapter 35:

(Quantic Universe Earth 139, April 1st, 2016, third person POV...)

In Alix Kubdel's residence, the rabbit-themed heroine is fast asleep, just fifty-five minutes before her alarm clock rings.

Unbeknownst to her, Miguel Guevara was in his Steel Butterfly form at the foot of her bed, slowly and carefully pulling the covers off her feet without waking her up.

Miguel could easily see for himself that Alix takes good care of her feet and she got her toenails pained baby blue, like one of the colors of her Bunnyx armor.

Steel Butterfly quietly extends his blunted claws and slowly traces his claws on Alix's creamy white soles.

Of course, because Alix was a light sleeper, she was giggling softly as she says, "No, Dad, no. Dad, stop. That really tickles."

Steel Butterfly stops altogether so as to avoid waking Alix.

Then, he places Alix's right hand in a bowl of warm water.

Steel Butterfly remains invisible on the ceiling like an imaginary spider and he watches with his x-ray vision as Alix unknowingly and subconsciously pees herself.

Steel Butterfly watches with a slowly forming evil smile as Alix wakes up fifty-five minutes later to turn off her alarm clock, and when she does, she notices to her horror and confusion that she peed herself in her sleep!

Steel Butterfly teleports away without a light show and without making a noise as Alix screams, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Half an hour later, in his lair, Steel Butterfly cackles evilly as he watches Alix's scream in slow motion.

Steel Butterfly remarks to no one in particular, "Happy April Fools' Day!"

Leppey asks in SB's head, "Did you seriously have to prank Alix like that? You seriously made her pee herself!"

Steel Butterfly replies, "Well, any harmless prank is fun to pull on people on April Fools' Day, just as long as you're extra vigilant for any form of retaliation. Such as this."

Steel Butterfly uses a dummy to open his disguise locker to reveal a booby-trapped locker designed to shoot golf balls and silly string at whoever opens it.

Steel Butterfly sees the note on it from Bunnyx saying, "I'll get you for making me pee myself, no matter how prepared you are!"

Steel Butterfly points out, "This prank's not even clever! I mean, seriously, I saw this in the Save That Tiger episode from Saved by the Bell."

At Francoise Dupont, Marinette, Adrien, Chloe, Sabrina, Alya, Nino, Kim, Kagami, Juleka, Rose, Mylene, Ivan, Aiden and the other students got pranked in different ways. Including asking the teachers for left-handed pencils, wrapping the teachers' phones in rubber bands, changing their seats every time the teachers' backs are turned, covering the classrooms entirely in tin foil, putting Out Of Order signs on the teachers' bathrooms, putting stickers on the underside of the teachers' computer mice, filling school corridors with cups of water, and of course, booby-trapped lockers.

For Steel Butterfly, the booby-trapped lockers were one of the easier ones because, for some reason, Mr. Damocles still didn't get locks on the lockers.

And for the two primary secret heroes of Paris, they were furious at the pranks someone was getting them with, and they still didn't know who was doing it all. If only because their time-traveling teammate was being cryptic about it.

However, after comparing all of the hints, Marinette and Adrien angrily snarled that Miguel Guevara was so gonna get it.

At Parc des Princes stadium, just as P.E. was about to start, the students suddenly felt itchy all over.

Armand D'Argencourt was dumbfounded as he found out the cause and he exclaims, "Part le fer! A knave placed itching powder all over this stadium field!"

An invisible Steel Butterfly was watching the whole thing from the air, and he silently cackles.

Steel Butterfly hears the sound of the Rabbit Miraculous being used and he immediately flies away without letting anyone know in any way where he was.

Halfway into the afternoon, just before lunchtime, the staff of Francoise Dupont discovered jumping beans in the chili and fought the urge to groan.

The Jackson Hillard clone of Miguel Guevara comes up to Marinette, Adrien, Alya and Nino with a box of chocolate chip cookies and says while reigning in his excitement, "Hey, guys! I just had my dad bake these cookies. They're fresh from the oven, and they're not too hot. But still, be careful of the chocolate."

Marinette, Adrien, Alya and Nino excitedly took one cookie each and took a bite.

But that was mistake #2: never let your guard down on April Fools' Day, especially when it comes to baked goods.

They immediately started loudly coughing and they rushed over to the garbage cans to spit out the cookie chunks.

Jackson calls out from the doors, "April Fools! I replaced the sugar with salt!"

And he then runs away from the school at full speed before anyone can catch up with him.

Marinette and Adrien growl in unison and their faces twist into feral snarls.

And then, later in the evening, Steel Butterfly is free as a bird on the Eiffel Tower, enjoying the view.

But then, suddenly, Bunnyx, Ladybug and Cat Noir fly up to him with a box of pizza.

Bunnyx states, "Hey, SB, we got ourselves a nice, delicious pizza for all four of us!"

Steel Butterfly smiles as he takes off his helmet and the four heroes sit down to eat.

As soon as Steel Butterfly is about to take the first slice, he spots a fake cockroach on the slice of pizza.

Steel Butterfly snarls, "Nnnyyyrrrggghhh! Really? A fake cockroach?!"

Bunnyx bemoans, "I told you guys he wasn't gonna fall for it! He's a grandmaster of pranks, and that's just because of his age and immortality combined with how long he existed."

Steel Butterfly wolf-whistles and Corvo and Cat Knight appear with synthetic feathers in hand, along with different kinds of tickle torture tools.

Bunnyx's eyes widened in shock and horror, realizing that because Steel Butterfly was pushed to his limit, he's gonna have her, Ladybug and Cat Noir tickle tortured!

But will Bunnyx, Ladybug and Cat Noir manage to pull through without peeing themselves?
