Hidden watchers (10)

The next day, in a cloudy day, while practicing, unknown to George, he again had some viewers watching him train. Those what were watching him were Ana and Marie. Both of them were coming home after a busy day, when Marie noticed him.

The scenery where they watch sometimes George is a place full of wonders, some want to say, but in fact is the opposite, it's a place lost by hopes surrounded by fences what takes the shape of triangles. The entrance is open, and untouched like the environment welcomes you, yet is full of vegetation. There are trees and a house with broken windows and missing structural protection, there are bushes, and the grass is uncut for ages. And likewise, there is a campfire there, unlit. In the middle of that, there was George focused on his training and not paying attention to his admirers.

"Ana, look, isn't that guy from your class? The same guy what was taken by those police some time ago, when we were partying at Robert? What is he doing in this place again?"

"Marie, are you sure you are all right? You are starting to give him more attention than you'd normally give. Yes, it's him and you are indeed right. And he was back at uni, the next day like nothing happened. And what do you mean again? Does he comes here often? And what is he even doing?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Don't think anything weird about that, you are delirious too much and you are not even funny" said Marie with a serious face. "Sometimes I see him here training in this abandoned place, I don't know for what he is even training for and why is he doing it here and not in a different place."

"That's unexpected to say the least, but that made me curious. Do you like him if you say that you watch him sometimes?", she asked Marie while laughing with a smirking face.

"No, why I would like him? He's a nobody. But there's something wrong with him. And I can't figure out what. And stop teasing, I'm not interested, and you are annoying. And maybe he will hear us if you don't stop being noisy brat."

"After all you started to give him more attention than you'd normally give him. Don't get mad on me, you are the one acting weird." Ana was obviously concerned about her but didn't want to show it.

"Just get over with it, it's becoming annoying."

"So, what is he usually doing?"

"Normally when I see him here, I either see a fire nearby, just burning and him doing some sort of training. I still don't get it, but we should move on." (And Marie keeps on talking)

'Fire?' Ana surprised, was thinking about that after party when his arms were burning. 'Is he training for what I think he is? Then I might not be alone in this? Should I trust him? It's too early to tell. I think I will ask him when I'm certain and I have more information.'

Meanwhile, in this time, Marie was trying to get the spaced-out Ana back to reality.

"Ana! Ana?! Do you hear me? Earth to Ana?". Marie was even waving her hand to wake her from her thoughts.

"Ah! What? Yes, I'm here. I hear you. What happened, Marie?"

"Are you alright? You made me worry for a moment!"

"I just spaced out. I'm fine." 'I don't want to worry her even more'.

Author's note: That's it for today. I hope you like it. That's it for this year, in the next one I'll be still writing on this story, but there will be times when I'll simply don't have enough time.

I had a sketch and an photo to represent on what I was thinking and I'm not able to upload it. You are able to find it on the Wattpad's version. The same can be told about earlier releases.
