The meeting (1)

the first thing adam did after coming home from school was to start learning about the web.

were there any secret codes or unspoken rules he had to learn?

what was acceptable and what would get him assassinated? he did this while looking for someone who wanted to buy his diamonds and also making more in his spare time.

DREAMER LEVEL UP FROM (1) TO (2)

WILL: FROM 5.6 TO 6.1

Adam: "if this isn't multitasking then I don't know what is."

adam complained but didn't stop. after all, this money would be useful later.

after his investigation was over he practiced more with his powers but unfortunately didn't make any more breakthroughs.

He also tried to hide his powers or contain them so the T.U.C wouldn't find him intentionally or not.

"Man, this is such a mess..!" Adam complained until he received a text.

Anon: "hey those diamonds still available?"

"Ohshitohshitohshit." adam thought.

Adam: "Yeah they are. you interested?"

Anon: "Obviously I am. when and where should we meet up?"

Adam: "How about XXX? tomorrow at 5 PM. and how much do you want to buy?" adam gave the address to a house on the other end of town.

Anon: "How many do you have?"

Adam: "10 carats"

Anon: "I'll take them all."

Adam POV:

Fuck I am so scared.

I have never been in this type of situation before!

I mean who has?

I could get killed or robbed or something!

OK, it will be fine I can do stuff now. I have powers and shit!

"let's look up some more stuff...

..just in case."

SHIELD.

Create a shield that can deflect bullets away from your body.

This should do for now.

but why is it only a "small amount or quantity?"

ANSWER!

THIS IS BECAUSE THE HOST IS CURRENTLY USING THE WORLDS RULES WHICH IS THE REALM OF THE ARCANE, NOT MAKING HIS OWN WHICH IS WHAT DREAMING IS ABOUT.

So the reason that shield is working fully is?

THIS IS BECAUSE THIS INVOLVES BENDING REALITY AND CHANGING IT AROUND YOU, THEREFORE FALLING INTO THE AUTHORITY OF DREAMERS.

Oh okay, seem legit.

well, either way at least I can defend myself now.

so that's some good news at least.

and so the day peacefully passed.

Meanwhile...

Lindy (The female T.U.C. agent)

Drove around the city in her new car.

this time the car was completely normal with no unnatural effect around it since her boss didn't want "her breaking another one!"

Which she was angry about.

still, she knew he had a point, it wasn't exactly wise to approach a supernatural existence, no matter how weak it looked, and try attacking it in a pursuit of glory.

so she just shut up, got her punishment and demotion and all of that boring stuff, dealt with it, and moved on.

still, her boss being the "Gracious man" that he was gave her an opportunity, to redeem herself in his eyes.

which she didn't have a choice but to accept.

so here she was still looking and searching around for "someone" she didn't know:

How he or she looked.

She did hear them scream, but that was too high-pitched to make an accurate judgment on gender.

so basically she knew nothing. about what she was looking for.

Lindy: "just my fucking luck."

And so Lindy continued her search in vain.

In ANOTHER part of the city.

An unknown individual was walking with a phone in hand. looking around he crossed the street before mumbling to himself.

Anon: "It's 4 PM he should be here soon."

"I don't see any police or anything so it's probably not a trap but better make sure"

He is still very paranoid after the raid.

Two of his allies were captured after all

and they were most likely still looking for him.

he got extremely lucky that he managed to escape in one piece. all of that equipment they had wasn't for nothing after all.

"oh well, nothing can be done to help them now..."

he knew very well what the T.U.C. did to anyone they captured. they would drug them senselessly and harvest their blood since it was a powerful energy source.

"Fucking bastards..." he cursed

"They call us evil but still use our artifacts for their purposes."

"Oh well, it'll be 5 PM soon I gotta get ready."

And even though none of the three knew it yet their accidental meeting would define the world as everyone knew it.

but that will have to wait for next time...
