Chapter 1

The eyelids of the silver-hair woman flutter, like a bird flap its wings, as it begins to open to reveal the beautiful amethyst eyes of hers. Enterprise squirms to get up before her spine was set straight up in a vertical line as she let her weight upon her rear…and on something soft? Enterprise look down to let her line of vision glance at the softness below to find a bed, where her legs were covered. After she looks down, she raised her head and glances at the surrounding – Woods surrounding her as the material that was put into the building has the appearance of wood before the flickers from the fireplace catches her eyes along with the sound of wood crumbling to ashes within the fire. After she look around, she spotted a set of chairs surrounding a table where her violet eyes catches fruits and foods on wooden plates.

–Her stomach growled.

Her eyes widen before her eyes relax and look down at her stomach as she touches it…that's when she realises that the wound on her wasn't causing her any pain, so that means it's all patched up…and she was in a new attire – an earthy color dress. Yet, she didn't have the mind to think of whoever treated her, her mind has been glued to the food on the table beside the bed where she was still sitting at. Before Enterprise uses her legs to stand on the wooden floor with her naked feet, she squinted her eyes as she sharpened it as she scan the surroundings once more – it was important since she needed to check it in order for her to be able to sport any traps. She didn't find any. With her legs wobbling, she tried to produce silence from her footsteps as she walks towards the table, even though she walks with her spines straight… it only make creaking sounds from her feet, and she stops caring about it.

Before her were a few plates with foods in the center of those wooden plates with utensils – the fork only has two points – on the sides of the plates. Enterprise lift her hands and grasp the apple before she lifted up to try to take a bite out of it.

"Hungry?"

Enterprise widen her violet eyes as she dropped the apple and snatches the knife that was set near to her position with her delicate hands before she aim it at the man behind her…who was wearing the armor of Ancient Rome. The man widen his aquamarine eyes at the gestures that Enterprise give to him as he raised his hand and let his palm face her before walking backward with hesitation. Enterprise did not move…for she saw in the man's eyes was not fear or cautious…he was analyzing the situation. The confrontation wasn't in her favor.

As the man begins to open his lips, Enterprise throws the knife at him which causes the man to bend his head and body down to avoid the impact of the knife, despite it being thrown with carelessness and aimlessness. Enterprise, saws the opportunity, bolted toward the wooden door – Only for her to cover her face with her arms as blinding, and palish light punch her in the face…before her vision got better and dropped her arms to let the view ingrained into her mind – A small village…it was a small village. Enterprise shook her head with a ragged breath before looking around, despite the stares of its citizen, and she spotted a gate which causes her to think it was the exit. But right before she could dash toward it, she suddenly felt…different. She felt nothing as she doesn't feel any anxiety residing within her, nor any dust of electricity-like adrenaline coursing through her veins, nor the fear of getting lost within another country, not the pressure of war upon her shoulder. She stood there before she inhales a wave of air through her nasal passage before looked at the surrounding of the peaceful village…which the villager stops their activities to look at her with titled heads and raises eyebrows before Enterprise waved at them with a smile, which causes them to shrugged and continue their missions.

"It's rude to throw utensils at someone who saves your life, right?" Enterprise stop waving at the villagers before she turns her head towards the source which was behind her. Reflected on her eyes was the same man who adorns the armor of Acient Rome with a heavy frame. But now, she could see the man's face – A squarish face with a full coffee beard wavy hair that reaches his thicken neck, his aquamarine eyes has their line of vision latched onto her amethyst eyes as he set some of his weight upon his shoulder as he leans at the wooden door frame.

"...I apologize for doing that, I wasn't in the right state of mind at that time" Enterprise closes her eyes before opening them as she lifted her hands and push them toward the man.

The man didn't say anything as he stares at her. But before a thought came to Enterprise's mind, the man stood with his spine straight and grab her offering hand and shakes it as the man let a friendly smile implanted on his face.

"Forgiven, and the name's Kaidimar. Kaidimar the Stout" the handshake causes a small smile to breach into her stoic face before she spoke.

"Enterprise. Enterprise the 'Grey Ghost'

–And when they go back into the house after Kaidimar invited her in first, the spell lost its effect.
