She's A Freakin' Sword Monster!!

In a few minutes, Tai laid on the floor, bleeding from his shoulder.

Nikolah and Claire were by his side.

Nikolah administering first aid to him as Claire had a guilty look on her face and kept waving at him.

Noticing his confused look, Nikki sighed.

"She says she's sorry."

Tai groaned in pain as Nikki bandaged the wound, but inwardly he was ashamed of himself.

The fight had been completely one sided.

***

Claire had picked up a longsword and got into a fighting stance.

She had a scary look on her face that Tai shuddered just looking at her.

In a flash, she launched at him.

All Tai could see was a flash of silver coming at his head, so in self preservation, he raised up his weapon.

A clang followed soon after making Tai wince.

'How the hell is she so strong?!'

The shock wave had made his hands hurt like hell, but Claire stuck fast to her weapon and so did he.

The dumb girl continued to attack him, but bit by bit he was slowly adapting to her speed.

Soon, the room was filled with a cacophony of steel.

Tai managed to block her attacks and dodge others, while the hazel brown haired girl continued to attack him relentlessly.

Then she suddenly stopped.

Tai was glad as he was close to becoming exhausted.

But before he could rest, she suddenly restarted with even fiercer intensity.

Tai was stumped to discover that she had been going easy on him all along.

Claire was a master with the sword.

She possessed a formidable battle intuition that made her ten times better than any other fighter.

Infact, in her life, three was only one person who could beat her at battle.

But the boy she was sparring with was strange too.

Any other person would be exhausted by now, but Tai held on.

And the oddest thing was that he was slowly getting better and better.

Tai naturally had the ability to notice the smallest details of any thing he did.

Fighting was no different.

He could see the small details of how Claire swinged her sword, the way she kept her feet, the way she shifted when he made a strike, everything.

Thus he knew what to expect.

Slowly and surely, he was starting to block every strike, parry every slash, and dodge every blow.

Which was immensely impressive for his first time using a sword.

Claire herself was getting frustrated.

She had taken up her game, yet the the black haired teenager could still continue.

In slight frustration, she went a bit too far.

Rushing faster than she had ever done during the spar, she slashed at Tai, who tried to parry only for the impact to hurt so much that his sword went flying.

They both froze for a split second.

One in which he could see a scary sadistic smile on Claire's face.

Tai instantly summoned the obsidian sword, as the dumb girl dashed forward, flashing her sword.

Tai could see the black blade of the Obsidian Sword connect with the silver blade of her long sword, when her sword seemed to phase as a blinding pain enveloped his body.

Tai was sprawled out on the floor.

He could clearly feel a warm liquid steam down his shoulders.

Claire had almost cut his hand from the shoulder.

The hazel haired girl dropped her weapon in shock and instantly went over to Tai's groaning figure.

She looked really worried.

However, Nikolah was already there, administering a first aid kit.

She smiled at the agonizing Tai.

"You did well."

Tai smiled a bit, then winced in pain.

"I guess I did."
