Broly left Ice City somewhat satisfied, Queen Drizzle had accepted his offer and promised to implement his plans immediately.
It wasn't like she had any choice after all.
His stomach rumbled once, causing him to frown slightly.
'Ever since I transformed, I've been permanently hungry and ignoring it just seems to make it worse'
Broly might actually tear through all of his supplies in one month.
He made his way to the ship, walking instead of flying as he cleared his head by looking at the vast and empty plains in front of him.
'Although the planet is small, there really is too much space to use and because the population is small, I can do a lot of things over here'
Broly might be returning sooner than he thought.
Broly breathed in the air, slightly dry and humid, and focused on the nature around him.
'I think long term the gravity is too weak, initially, it's refreshing but now it's hindering my training'
It was harder than it should be from Broly's body to adapt in the harsh 20x gravity when outside it was 60x lighter. Even still, Broly was able to perform basic movements in those conditions, although advanced moves and spins would wear at his body, producing injuries that would take full minutes to heal.
'And there's still the Great Ape!'
The thought hit Broly like a bus.
He considered all the transformations he could do, he had a firm grip on Super Saiyan, able to transform in and out at will and was able to withstand his Legendary form without turning into a blind murder machine.
He had completely forgotten about his giant monkey form.
'How does it even work?'
Even with all the biology knowledge, he had, going from roughly 6 feet to 20 feet in seconds and sprouting fur all over his body was something that was very difficult to wrap one's head around. Soon after the incident, the Tuffles configured the barrier around the city to block moonlight, not even daring to investigate the matter further.
'I'll have to look at the properties of moonlight when I get back to my ship,' Broly sighed as his workload increased.
He had to finish studying Super Saiyan, configure and start studying his Legendary form, weld together a sheath for his sword, analyse and configure the results for the crystals he mined, follow up the data from Freiza's ships he hacked...
Broly felt tired thinking about all the stuff he had to do, it wasn't boring in the slightest but a bit daunting once laid out.
'I could stop by at Sythis and get some help' Broly considered this option.
Queen Vegeta had voiced several times with a blushing expression that she wanted to go straight back to Planet Vegeta and so Broly agreed without resistance, captured by her appearance every time.
'Mind out of the gutter! She's a married woman!'
A woman blushing while wearing your clothes was truly a fatal weapon.
Broly continued to empty ponder as he walked leisurely taking his time strolling through the deserted field.
"Hey, dipshit!"
A snarky voice broke Broly out of his thoughts, the type of voice one would frown immediately upon hearing.
Broly looked up, seeing a flying humanoid with ki crystals jutting out of its collar bone, forming a jagged circle around its neck.
"Yeah, I'm talking to you, you monkey headass motherfucker!" the humanoid persued.
Broly's brows furrowed.
'Is that Tsufurian machinery?'
Although the humanoid was over a hundred miles away, he might as well have been an inch from Broly who could see very far away with his eyes that seemed to grow stronger as each day passed.
"Oh my mistake, I was idiotic to think a baboon like you could understand proper speech!"
'He's trying way too hard,' Broly thought almost laughing.
He was now certain he was looking at Tsufurian machinery as he knew the Tuffles liked to go all-in with their insults.
Intrigued, Broly lept into the air, spanning the distance in just a few seconds.
Broly had extreme confidence in himself, his power level in his base form without ki was already out of bounds for literally everyone he had met in his entire life and knowing that his body had an ultimate failsafe made him believe that he was more or less invincible.
The humanoid laughed mockingly, seeing that Broly had approached it, doing its best to irritate Broly.
Broly looked at it sideways, not quite getting why it was so intent on making him angry.
He took a mental note to not take anything it said seriously.
'Tch! Why isn't it working?'
Baby, who was a couple thousand miles away absorbing Ice ki crystals, grunted sourly as it realised its taunts were having no effect.
From what he gathered, Saiyans were supposed to be prideful, short-tempered creatures, a few well-timed insults would unscrew their lids ten times out of ten yet the Saiyan in front of him acted as if he couldn't care less.
Baby re-calculated the probability of success, removing anger as a favourable factor.
'Still 41%, difficult but not impossible,' Baby thought as it calculated all the possible results Broly's actions would have.
'Engaging Blutz Wave radiation!'
G1's eyes flashed white, radiating exactly 17 million Zenos of blutz waves outwards to Broly.
"Show your true form you stupid monkey!"
Broly felt his tail tingle, usually, he paid little attention to it as he tried training it but it was harder to utilise than he thought. His tail straightened completely and then he felt a strange pressure inside it, almost as if it was fizzling.
Broly blinked, the blutz waves now trapped inside his eyes and he felt the pressure in his tail shoot into his body, a strange warmth caressing him.
G1 stared at Broly patiently, waiting for the results he had calculated.
'Why hasn't he-'
TSH!
Dark brown fur grew out from every part of Broly's skin, covering his arms and legs. Broly's eyes turned dark red, losing their irises and the hair on his head turned brown, lengthening so that it went down his back. Broly's teeth grew, the perfectly lined and spaced chompers now becoming jagged and long, his canines forming fangs that draped down savagely by the sides of his mouth. Despite the overgrowth of thick brown fur covering his skin, his abdomen remained completely smooth, sections of thick muscle visible to the eye. Broly's ki guards expanded, stretching wide to accommodate his ridiculously large size, providing a seasoned look to the giant warrior.
'So this is his Great Ape form!' Baby said, a small smile growing on his face as he saw the chance of victory increase to 62%.
