A pin drip could have been considered a loud noise with how deadly silent it became on the ancient and mostly petrified enormous tree stump. A sapling of a dryad with a spiritual body appearance of a sleepy little boy in leaf print pajamas, only the leaves were real, lazily floated right next to his true Great Tree body, blinking at an equally shocked little green scaled dragon.
The complete and utter silence lasted for a soil five minutes with the two just staring and blinking at each other. It was neither of them that finally broke the silence.
"Chirp, chirp, chirp."
"Ah, Dreamweaver. Yes, yes you are a very good birdy and very smart too. I will give you a big piece of a seed cake made with honey later when we go back down. My feather coverd sister and the Messenger Birds all ready like them so you should too."
"You can understand what she is saying?"
"I can talk to all sorts of animals and even understand the feelings of certain plants a little too."
