He thought he would at least have a few drinks to clear his head off. He met Jessie in Vegas and recognized she was the woman his grandfather forced him to get married to. Jessie stared at Gracie with her mouth open in shock. "What?" She chuckled apprehensively. "What?" Again, she spoke. She found it hard to believe such a young child would be knowledgeable about this. "Why do you think that?" Jessie asked.
"Because you entered the restroom to throw up."
"And why don't sick people throw up? Are only those who are pregnant allowed to?"
Grace sighed. "One day, my aunt Judy rushed to the bathroom to vomit. She lied to all the family, saying that she was just sick. That she had the flu, but nine months later, a baby girl was born. So, Aunt Jessie, maybe you're expecting as well. You should see the doctor."
Jessie gave a nod. "I can say without a doubt that I am not expecting. So let's just keep quiet while we finish our ice cream and head back home." She looked at the time. "We spent four hours shopping."
