"I told you to address me as 'Your Holiness'! Next time, I'll take an arm," Bibi Dong warned icily.

At her glare, Yu Xiaogang froze. She was serious! Terrified, he trembled and muttered, "Y-Yes, Your Holiness."

Utterly humiliated, Yu Xiaogang felt like crying. This was the complete opposite of what he'd envisioned. Had he walked straight into a lion's den?

At that moment, Bibi Dong casually pulled a sheet of paper from her spirit tool and tossed it at his feet. "Take a look, you piece of trash. You talk about loving me? I must have been blind!"

A terrible premonition gripped Yu Xiaogang as he picked up the paper, wincing through the pain.

Boom! Seeing the document, detailing his secret wedding plans with Liu Erlong, his mind went blank. He had hidden the wedding, inviting only three people. "Your Holiness, please let me explain. I was devastated when I left Spirit Hall. As I traveled the continent to mend my heart, I met Flender and Erlong. Erlong saw my sorrow and comforted me, and over time, we fell in love."

Yu Xiaogang's explanation was only half true. Maybe if I blend fact with fiction, she won't notice.

But he underestimated Bibi Dong. Spirit Hall's intelligence was far from weak, and Su Ming had hinted at Yu Xiaogang's tricks repeatedly in his diary over the past seven years.

"Ah! My leg!" Yu Xiaogang screamed as another blast of spirit power pierced his right leg. The pain was excruciating.

"Tell the truth! You claim to have the continent's best martial spirit theories but can't recognize a simple spirit mutation? Erlong's Red Dragon spirit is only a color variant of your family's. Do you have any excuse left?"

Monster! Yu Xiaogang thought. How could she have changed so much?

"Bibi Dong, you're a monster! Where's the sweet, innocent Bibi Dong from before?" he yelled.

She sneered, "The old Bibi Dong disappeared the day you left Spirit Hall! I was just naive, dazzled by your theories. And those theories? They came from Spirit Hall's records!"

"Since you came to me today, let's settle this once and for all. Answer me: did you know Erlong was part of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon clan? Did you plan to marry her knowing this?"

Yu Xiaogang wanted to deny it, but when he saw her hand twitch, he panicked and confessed, "Yes, I suspected as much. Her spirit resembled our clan's. I thought she might be an illegitimate child from the clan."

His gaze dropped, humiliated. "But I was heartbroken after leaving you, and Erlong was kind and beautiful. She admired my theories, just as you did, so…"
