Above Heaven Duo City, two streaks of blue and pink light illuminated the sky as they sped forward, revealing the figures of Nero and Yuanen Yehui. After reaching a safe distance from the city, they descended in an unpopulated park.

"So, who is our first target?" Yuanen Yehui asked, her eyes focused on Nero, curiosity gleaming in her gaze.

Nero took a moment to gather his thoughts and explained the requirements, "Elder Cai wants us to fight soul masters between Rank 65 and Rank 71, with the only requirement being that we have to face a soul sage in the last city. So, my plan is to challenge Rank 65 Soul Emperors in the first fourteen cities."

Curiosity piqued, Yuanen Yehui further inquired, "If we hurry up, how much time do you think the first fourteen cities will take?"

Nero thought for a moment, calculating the possibilities he answered, "Considering our combat power without Battle Armor and with maximum firepower, I'd estimate each battle will take somewhere between ten to fifteen minutes."

Yuanen Yehui was visibly surprised by the speed and exclaimed, "That fast?"

Nero smiled at her reaction and clarified "Yes, it's because they'll obviously underestimate us, and we'll use that to our advantage. So, considering the travel time, I'd say it will take us about 5 to 6 days to conquer the first twelve cities."

Yuanen Yehui pondered for a moment before replying, "A Soul Bone?"

Nero nodded and produced a silvery object adorned with jewels, resembling a Soul Bone as seen in the anime. Before Yuanen Yehui could voice her surprise, Nero clarified, "It's not a genuine Soul Bone, but rather an energy manifestation. It will serve its purpose until we're ready to confront Jin Fan."

Yuanen Yehui nodded in agreement as they readied themselves to lure Jin Fan out into the open.

Jin Fan who was going to the hotel with his two new girlfriends abruptly halted in his tracks as a distorted voice reverberated within his mind. The message was clear and unsettling: " Jin Fan, go to a secluded place." He immediately abandoned his two girlfriends and made his way toward a desolate alleyway. He understood that only someone of significantly greater power could communicate with him telepathically.

Upon entering the alleyway, Jin Fan was greeted by an enigmatic figure concealed beneath a hood, their purple eyes piercing the shadows. " Senior, What can I do for you? " Jin Fan immediately bowed and said in flattery. However, the hooded figure remained silent, choosing instead to toss a silvery object in his direction. Jin Fan caught it with trembling hands and, upon closer inspection, realized that it was a soul bone. His heart raced as he comprehended the significance of this unexpected gift.

"All you have to do is engage in a battle with two youngsters at the east-side park and place a wager with them. Whether you win or lose, the reward will be yours," that was the only thing the hooded man instructed before he vanished like a fleeting gust of wind. Jin Fan, still in awe of the soul bone he now possessed, bowed once more and readily pledged to carry out the mysterious senior's bidding. With determination, he made his way towards the East-side park

Five minutes later, Nero and Yuanen Yehui, who'd been patiently waiting at East-side park finally spotted Jin Fan hurrying their way. As he reached them, they both shot cautious looks and simultaneously asked, "Who are you?" Aria had to hand it to them; their acting skills were top-notch.

Without missing a beat, Jin Fan put on an elder's facade and replied with some gravitas, "Juniors, I've been sent here to test you."

Nero, easing up a bit, inquired, "Did our family send you?" Jin Fan was stunned for a minute but after thinking about a moment, considering, and then figured that the mysterious hooded figure must have been this kid's senior. Staying in character, he summoned his Martial soul and said, "Yeah, get ready." Aria, who'd been watching this unfold, couldn't help but feel a little sorry for Jin Fan.

"But we're really not interested in fighting you," Yuanen Yehui retorted, making Jin Fan almost stumble. However, he quickly recalled the wager mentioned by the hooded senior.

Thinking on his feet, Jin Fan proposed, "How about we make a wager of 100,000 Federation coins? If you win, I'll hand it over to you." Nero's eyes sparkled with interest, and he eagerly agreed. Seeing the kids accept, Jin Fan felt a wave of relief wash over him as he thought he'd finally outsmarted them.

Yet, in the very next moment, Jin Fan found himself at a loss for words as Nero requested that he take out the 100,000 Federation coin card and place it on the bench.

After Jin Fan placed the card on the bench, the match was set to begin. The moment the countdown reached zero, Nero vanished from his spot and reappeared behind Jin Fan in a flash. Sensing a rush of air from behind, Jin Fan quickly activated his first and second spirit abilities, enveloping himself in a shimmering crystal armor and conjuring a sturdy crystal shield before him.

Unfortunately for Jin Fan, he had vastly underestimated Nero's strength. With a single devastating punch, Nero effortlessly tore through the crystal shield, sending Jin Fan flying towards Yuanen Yehui, who raised her leg as if she were preparing to kick a football, surprising Jin Fan. He attempted to activate his fourth spirit ability, but Yuanen Yehui's Rock God Spear exerted a suppressing force on his Martial Soul, causing a delay in its activation.

Then, a deafening "Boom" echoed as Jin Fan found himself forcefully embedded in the ground. Gathering his resolve, he realized he had underestimated these young fighters. In response, he swiftly summoned his sixth spirit ability, shouting, "Sixth Spirit Ability, Crystal Formation!" Sharp crystals erupted from the ground attacking Nero and Yuanen Yehui. Nero simply teleported away and Yuanen Yehui used her Rock attribute powers to stop the crystals.

Without hesitation, Yuanen Yehui swiftly unleashed her fourth spirit ability, utilizing her innate skill. This not only stunned the Soul Emperor but also effectively restricted the flow of his soul power. Yuanen Yehui's petrification innate skill was remarkably powerful; its ineffectiveness in the Class Competition had been due to her facing opponents like Tang Wulin and Nero, whose physical prowess far exceeded their respective ranks.

Nero wasted no time either, following up with his Demon Prowler ability, near sighting the guy. Deciding to give the final blow Nero summoned Yamato and unsheathed it at a blinding speed surrounding Jin Fan in a whirlwind of slashes. . With each slash, Jin Fan's defenses crumbled, and he soon succumbed to unconsciousness, unable to withstand the relentless assault.

After carefully positioning Jin Fan on a nearby bench, Nero and Yuanen Yehui retrieved the Federal coin card and departed from Heaven Duo City. Half an hour passed before Jin Fan slowly regained consciousness. As he glanced around, the realization hit him that he had indeed lost to two younger opponents.

"Well, whatever," Jin Fan muttered to himself, trying to brush off his defeat. He took out the soul bone with excitement but his smile soon faltered as the soul bone disintegrated into specks of light as soon as he stuck it to his forearm. The people who were passing by the East-side park heard hysterical screams filled with sadness that day.

Seated at the desk in the headmaster's office, Elder Cai wore a knowing smile as she turned her attention to Shen Yi and inquired, "So, how are all of them doing?"

Shen Yi retrieved a tablet and responded, "Everyone is progressing exceptionally well. Initially, a few pairs had some issues with cooperation, but they adapted remarkably quickly."

Elder Cai commented wryly, "Well, they do have the motivation of potential expulsion to keep them on their toes." Then, her expression turned irritated as she asked about a specific individual, "How is that brat doing?"

Shen Yi hesitated for a moment, prompting a concerned frown from Elder Cai. She probed, "What's the matter?"

Shen Yi snapped back to attention and replied, "Nero and Yuanen Yehui, they've already traversed fourteen cities and defeated Soul Emperors in each one."

Elder Cai shot up from her seat, her voice filled with disbelief, "How did they manage this so quickly? It's only been six days." In response, Shen Yi simply handed her the tablet.

"THAT BRAT!" Elder Cai's enraged voice reverberated through the office, causing nearby teachers to take notice. Elder Cai rubbed her temples as she observed the chaos that Nero had unleashed. It appeared that Nero and Yuanen Yehui had sped up their progress by having each defeated Soul Emperor entice another in the next city with a reward, with the sole requirement being to delay Nero and Yuanen Yehui for ten minutes within the city. This strategy eliminated the need for Nero and Yuanen Yehui to search for their opponents, as their adversaries now eagerly awaited them in the less populated areas of each city.

"Achoo," Nero sneezed while wandering around Bright City with Yuanen Yehui. Concerned, Yuanen Yehui rubbed Nero's back and inquired, "Are you okay?" Nero nodded and replied with a wry smile, "Yeah, someone out there must be remembering me." Hearing this, Yuanen Yehui chuckled and commented, "Well, considering how many Soul Emperors resent you, it's quite likely that at least one of them is thinking of you." Nero couldn't help but laugh in agreement; Yuanen Yehui had a point.

Coming to main topic Yuanen Yehui asked Aria, "So, Who is the soul sage we are fighting? ". Aria simply displayed the information about their final opponent.

Yuanen Yehui nodded in understanding and then posed a curious question, "What's your combat power division?" Nero contemplated for a moment before elaborating, "In my normal state, I can take on anyone ranked below 70 and manage to hold my own or escape against Rank 71. When I use Battle Armor in its normal form, I can contend with a Rank 75 Soul Sage. If I activate Battle Armor overdrive, I can push that to Rank 78. Now, if I utilize Devil Trigger, I can defeat those ranked below 80. However, if I stack everything for my maximum combat power, I might be able to hold my own against someone ranked 80, but it comes at a significant cost in terms of energy consumption. If I don't retreat, I'd likely end up defeated due to exhaustion."
