Purged by crimson flames

You will pay for what you have done to my goons!", he shouted out with his temper rising.

"I dare you! GO HOME AND HIDE YOUR HEAD BETWEEN YOUR LEGS, YOU LAP DOG!!", Abel screamed with excitement.

" The tables have turned, now trash even has some courage to stand up", Riley said as he positioned himself well. The air around him became less dense as his body's temperature begun to rise slowly.

"I will make you knell down and apologise to my friends in front of the whole world for what you have done to them".

"Look who is speaking of retribution? You are the one who turned me into this monster! If there's any one in this world who deserves retribution then it is you", Abel replied strongly. His blood covered fist were shaking violently due to the anger which was rising in him.

Staring down the system message, the feeling of excitement had piqued. The diabolical grin just grew larger as he stood up from the ground.

He kicked the lifeless body close to where he stood away. "Filth", he muttered out to the latter's hearing. He was sure that this act of his was going to raise Riley's anger.

WHOOSH!

Abel adjust his body and rolled to the right side of the place, dodging the heat of the fireball by the length of his hair. "PHEW!, almost got hit there", he mumbled to himself.

Riley wasn't going to give up that easily and followed the fire attack with several fireballs but all the huge fireballs were well evaded by Abel and they ended up scorching the clean floors of the rooftop.

Abel had been left on the defensive since there was no way of getting closer to to his opponent. The fireballs were rushing in nonstop. There was no room for resting.

[Apathy is at 15%]

He knew he had to do something right away or he would be as good as dead. Just then two huge fireballs rushed in towards him simultaneously and even though they were huge, the speed they were moving at was incredible.

"I have to do something or else I'm toast", he said withbmauch urgency as the two fireballs closed in on him. The heat the attack was packing could be felt on his face but he was now caught up in the middle of the two with no where to run to.

"Earlier I saw that horrifying grin of yours and had goosebumps by just staring at it. Who do you think you are?! You are no one. You aren't even fit inside my shoes. What gives you the confidence that you defeat me", he said with bitterness as he clinched his fists.

"Do you know you are a nuisance? but by my crimson flames I will purge your heart of that stubbornness!", he continued as he brought his hands down.

At that instant the fireballs descended from their original trajectory and were mere seconds away from hitting Abel.

"Not this same old catchphrase again. I really hate that piece of crap, you are the one who needs correction and I will be kind enough to give you that correction your rich parents can't give, you monster!", Abel screamed before being consumed by the crimson flames.

The scent of burning flesh was tearing through the air in an instant. The flames had completed their trajectory and suprisingly it had its target. Riley stood in amazement as he looked at what his opponent was going through.

A silhouette of Abel's body could be seen in the midst of the flames. The body twisted and turned violently in pain as the flames engulfed it. The scene was one which most non-evolved would hate to see but these monsters loved to relive similar things. Burning a student alive was out of the question, totally outspoken. This guy was indeed heartless.

" That serves him right , you have messed with a member of a great phoenix lineage. It is only right that you burn by his flames. GO TO HELL ABEL, WHERE YOU CAME FROM!, you don't deserve to live!", Riley shouted with his hands stuck inside his pockets.

HAHAHA HAHA!

Riley's diabolical laugh, the one Abel had wanted to hear before the unfortunate incident occurred was heard throughout the whole place. His laughter was tearing through the skies.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

"Let's add more oil to the fire!", he shouted while unleashing a long chain of fireballs towards the place where Abel was lying and grunting in pain. "Enjoy it! Trash!".

"You came a long way though I will give you credit for your effort but you are still just a piece of crap. This is just what happen when dogs are given a chance to be in the limelight, this is lights out for you", he said as and turn towards the door which lead inside the school.

SWISH!

"Isn't it rude to turn your back on an opponent", a familiar voice was heard at back of his ear. Riley turned on instinct when the words had enterd his ears. To his surprise thre was no one there.

"I'm at your back", the voice came again. Riley turned again but the same outcome was obtained.

BA-THUMP! BA-THUMP!

His heartbeat was all over the place. This was something he had never witnessed before. "Is his ghost already running rampage?", he muttered out in shock of being a victim of a ghost story.

"You are strong but your speed really lacks". Riley turned towards where the voice had come from and that was when he could see what was happening in front of his eyes.

The scent of burning flesh said everything. Abel stood in front of the door with his badly burnt skin. What Riley couldn't rub his head around was the fact that his burnt skin was slowly recovering from the damage it had taken. The rate at which it was recovering was visible to the eye.

"Isn't he suppose to be a non-evolved, then how come he is healing at that fast rate".

Boom!

Before he could end his words a foot had connected with his face, sending him tumbling over.

The same grin was evident on his face as he proceeded towards Riley.

-------

Inside level 3, Crow, Abel's class there had been a serious commotion. A black haired girl had her hand up while a teacher was in the process of teaching.

"What do you want, Jazzlyn?", Miss Portia questioned with a cold tone. Her gaze was now fixed on the girl who was disturbing her class.

"Where is Abel?", she asked with a look of anxiety on his face. It was clear that she wasn't glad with the absence of her classmate. She had the feeling that he was the one paying for her cowardice somewhere within the walls of the school.

"What does that have to do with me?", Miss Portia answered instantly while folding her arms with annoyance written all over her face. She didn't like the way things were going. It wasn't her problem if a piece of crap had gone missing. They wanted him out of the school already.

"I think he is in trouble, I was saved by him during the break inside the cafeteria.....", she explained the whole incident to her classmates in an attempt to grab their attention but the kind of stare their teacher was giving to them couldn't permit that.

"Please let's save him or else those guys are going to beat him to death", she said while tears started building up in her eyes. It was the first time they had heard her speak in the class but her request was too much. They couldn't risk getting into trouble because of some of trash.

"Why are you guy's so evil, we are also human beings. Even if we are what you call us, we also have blood moving in our veins! What is happening to him can happen to each one of you! Why do you have to sit for someone to die because he doesn't have some foolish energy in his body!", she shouted and rushed out of the classroom in tears.

The whole class became as silent as the cemetery after she had left. They were comptemplating on what to do about what had happened.

Miss Portia had steam coming out of her ears as her eyebrows twitched. Her demeanour had changed almost instantly and her killing intent was seeping out of her body uncontrollably.

The air inside the classroom grew thicker as she stared at the door where the girl had left through. "Who does that trash think she is to order me around? I will have to teach her some lesson later on", she muttered out underneath her breath.

---------

Boom!

The sound erupted through the skies as a stomp was delivered to Riley's side. He was on high alert and was able to dodge the attack but his body was at its limit since he had used much fireballs than his body could take.

Beads of sweat were gliding down his face like snakes. His breathing was disrupted by the condition he was in. All he could was pant and gasp for air but that wasn't doing any good for him. His end was neigh.

He tried standing up on his feet but it was no good, his body was giving up on him. He needed to do something before things got of hands.

Abel's grin was getting bigger and bigger due to the disappearance of most of the flesh around his lips. His face was totally distorted.

The whole thing made his figure more terrifying as he progressed.

The scent of burning flesh still lingered in he air but its presence wasn't affecting the mood at the time. One person was trying to avoid his doom whiles the other was just ready to give out retribution to the one who deserved it.

"HELP ME! GOD!", Riley screamed in defeat as Abel proceeded towards him. He dragged his body away from Abel in order to buy sometime but that wasn't going to change the kind of punishment he was going to receive.

"D-do you k-know y-you're a nuisance, but by my c-crimson flames I w-will purge y-your heart of that s-stubbornness. These were your words not mine", Abel said with sarcastically will maintaining his grin and composure.

Swush!

With a sudden movement, Abel was already at his back with his burnt legs outstretched. The grin diabolical he had on his face remained unfazed as he readied himself for what was about to take place.

Bam!

Riley was knocked out momentarily by the impact of the kick. It was delivered swiftly to the back of his head and due to this his whole body was in shock.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Before the body could recoil from the attack, series of were aimed towards the same place. Blood started oozing out of the place but that wasn't enough to satisfy Abel who had now lost his sanity.

He held Riley by the collar of his shirt and began to pummel his face. Each hit delivered distorted his face.

Hahahahahaha!

His laughter echoed throughout the whole place even though they were at the rooftop.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

The attacked continued till Riley's face was no longer recognisable. Abel was aiming to tear him apart for what he had done to him.

Argggghhhhh!

Just then a familiar feminine voice was heard close to where the door was. "Who are you?!, stop what you are doing! You are going to kill him!", the voice shouted again.

Bam!

The sound erupted through the air as Abel delivered his final blow to Riley, sinking his face in on impact. He turned around to see who had disrupted his fun time.

He was shocked to see the one who was standing in front of the door. The jet black hair and familar voice said everything. It was Jazzlyn, the one he had tried to save and had brought upon himself this good omen.

"Jazzlyn", he blurted out as he covered his body which was relentlessly trying to recover from its damage.

"Who are you?!", she shouted again out of frustration of the monstrosity which stood in front of her. She had no idea it was Abel.

"It's me, Abel", he replied with his face dropping down a bit. Fresh blood was still falling from his drenched hand.
