Elijah's POV

-Elijah- What is THAT?!

-Mr. Markus- !!!

We both looked at the dead corpse in the ground. We were both quite shocked.

Then that happened...

-Mr. Markus- Oh no, Elijah, please get away from here. I don't want you drinking that poor soul's blood

-Elijah- Ugh, I know.

I left Mr. Markus at the body. I sat by a tree. My head was spinning. It was probably because of all the blood on the ground.

-Elijah- Ugh. I haven't drunk any blood in a while and it still affects me this much? I feel pathetic.

After a while, I saw Mr. Markus walking in my direction.

-Mr. Markus- Are you okay?

-Elijah- Ugh... I feel fine. A little pathetic, because I still feel a little sick around blood.

-Mr. Markus- Well, at least you didn't turn into a blood sucking monster.

-Elijah- Hahaha. Very funny.

-Mr. Markus- Anyway, that corpse was probably killed when we heard that sound.

I don't know who it was tho, and I have no reason to follow the killer or killers, since I have no idea who the hell that corpse is.

-Elijah- Yeah.

I was a bit surprised that he said that.

-Mr. Markus- We should continue climbing. We are almost there.

-Elijah- Yeah, sure.

Time Skip

We finally arrived at the destination. The trip took about 2 days. I didn't expect it to take that long, but since Mr. Markus was pretty tired yesterday, we slept in a tent.

There was a huge tree that looked like it has been there for thousands of years. It probably has.

-Elijah- Jeez, that's a big ass tree right there.

-Mr. Markus- The tree has a name too. It's called 'The Tree of Wisdom'.

-Elijah- I see. So this is the place where you'll do your magic spell?

-Mr. Markus- Yes. But before you go, I have something important to tell you.

-Elijah- Wait, I'm going alone?! Since when?!

-Mr. Markus- I cannot come with you, sorry. I don't have time to explain, so listen very carefully.

-Mr. Markus- You must not reveal your true identity to anyone. You can tell your name, but keep your race to yourself for the time being, alright?

-Elijah- Why do I have to keep my race to myself?

-Mr. Markus- It could cause you problems. I assume you wouldn't want that.

-Elijah- Tch. You know me too well. Alright. I won't tell anyone. Do you have anything else to tell me?

-Mr. Markus- Yes. You must never show your true powers to ANYBODY. Even if you get friends or something. You should never tell them about yourself if you don't want to get yourself in trouble.

-Elijah- ...Alright...

-Mr. Markus- Good. I'm glad you understand.
