Arrows shot through the air and entered the fog.
I felt my heart rate rise as the arrows closed the distance.
My eyes then spotted one.
‘Move move!’ I continued to yell at my brain.
“First Stance - Clarity in Confusion,” A sword swiped in front of me and struck the arrow.
The wielder had black spikes protruding from both of his shoulders and proceeded to strike at another arrow nearby before retrieving it back to strike a third one down.
“Is this not Rayen?” I gasped, looking amazed. “Those reflexes are crazy!” I said while watching Rayen continuously block and deflect arrows heading towards me.
“Aim your weapons!” I heard the shouts of the female archer, and could tell that she had stretched the reins of her bowstring.
So now there's a change of analogy as I can confirm that she truly intends to kill me.
“But… not yet,” I heard a voice whisper into my ears.
“Not yet.” I repeated the words.
