Everyone stopped in their tracks, naturally asking about Cherish Turner's wellbeing. She nodded with a smile, surrounded by her colleagues. Looking up, she saw a man already far away at the back of the crowd, glaring at her angrily. He had a cold, handsome face, and his gaze shot straight through the crowd, fixated on her, as if someone had owed him money and not paid it back.
Cherish narrowed her eyes, her gaze met his in the air before she quickly looked away. She approached William Griffith and Chief Editor Sally, softly calling out, "President Griffith, Chief Editor Sally."
"Assistant Turner, let's talk in the office," Chief Editor Sally said hurriedly, feeling an icy coldness from the man by her side.
Cherish followed Chief Editor Sally to the office, silently walking past William Griffith.
