When Cherish Turner opened the door, she was instantly blinded by the sumptuous food on the pushed-in cart!
The server was a young, handsome Japanese man with delicate features, who strongly resembled the attractive, proud and aloof character in a novel. Cherish couldn't take her eyes off him. Her admiring gaze made him a little embarrassed.
Speaking fluent English with a slight Japanese accent, he introduced the traditional Japanese dishes on the cart. The vibrant colors and exquisite craftsmanship of the food almost made Cherish drool.
"Miss Turner, all of this has been personally prepared for you by Mr. William Griffith. Here are your cards, flowers, and incense. He mentioned that after a long flight, lighting some incense would help you get a good night's sleep."
As he said this, the Japanese young man neatly displayed everything, then bowed at a ninety-degree angle and respectfully left.
