Hogwarts

Today is 1st of September 1988, I am at king cross station with my family. I am wearing a t-shirt, a three forth cargo and sandals for the travel. I am only holding the owl cage which I have named as Athena. My stuff is in my briefcase, I have shrinked it to fit in my pocket. The train will leave in 10 minutes. When the train blows the horn, I give a hug to each of my family member one last time then board the train. The train starts to move and wave one last time to my family. After the train has left the station, I start to find an empty compartment to sit. After searching for two blocks I finally find a compartment which only has one dark red haired girl sitting inside. She looks like she should be two or three years older than me. I knock on the door, to get her attention.

"Hi, do you mind if I sit here?"

She looks at up and down "Of course not, please be my guest"

I walk in and make the owl cage float to the carrier. She looks at me wide eyed, "You can do magic without wand?" she asked a little loudly.

I reply with a smirk on my face, "Oh ya I have been doing wandless magic for nearly 6 years now, but I perfected control on it from last 2 years ago"

"Oh my god, thats awesome. Are you muggle born by chance?"

"Oh no I am what you might say a pure blood. But I hate differentiating one due to there birth.", I replied.

"That is very noble of you" the color of hair change to light pink, "I am Nymphedora Tonks a fourth year" and she give her hand for a hand shake.

'Oh my I now another one of the main characters from the plot. The book did not give much credit for her looks. She is so cute.' I take her hand and give it a little kiss like a french gentleman before introducing myself "Hello Nymphedora, I am Aziel Valerio starting Hogwarts this year"

"You are from Valerio family? My dad really respects your father and grandfather. And my mother never stops praising your mom for her potions quality. Oh and please call me Tonks I hate the name Nymphedora"

"Really, the name sounds so cool though. And thank your parents for such high opinion on my family."

"No problem at all. And the name is too long with no shorts possible and sounds very old."

"Alright no problem Tonks, and you can call Aziel. So how is Hogwarts? How are the professors? Are they very strict when you cause troubles?"

And so our chat about school began. After 6 or 7 hours, announcement was made to change into our school robes. I went out to let her change, and after she had changed she left the cabin for me to change. After nearly 10 more minutes, the train came to halt and we left the train. Tonks told me to keep my stuff inside, as they will take the stuff to our rooms later.

I heard a booming voice calling, "First Years First Years over here come along now", I look at a tall half giant was standing at one side of the exit and calling for the first years. Here is the another character of the main plot characters is here 'Rubeus Hagrid'. The half giant who has a lovely and childish personality in books. I move towards him after saying good bye to Tonks. I look around to see many students gathering around Hagrid, all should be first years. I see Cedric in the crowd and approach him. As all the first years gather around him, Hagrid starts to lead us towards the boat.

"Over here now, four a boat"

I and Cedric along two other kids got in the boat. And the boat starts to move forward. When I see a bridge ahead I hear Hagrid calling again "Watch yer heads now". And literally all the students except me and Cedric duck down.

"Oh come on now are all of first year students idiots now. He is at least 9 foot tall, so he has to duck. But you guys are at least 4 foot shorter than him. Did you guys leave your brains at home?" I could not help and shout out loud, to make fun of everyone of them and damn it felt good. Me and Cedric start to laugh out loud seeing there expressions.

After taking a turn we finally see the legendary castle of Hogwarts, and may I say damn it is huge.

The boats enter the tunnel at the bottom of the Castle, inside the tunnel there is dock created for the boats to dock. All boats dock one after another, and then we all proceed to follow Hagrid.

We go up to the stairs to meet Prof. McGonagall, "First years professor" Hagrid says to McGonagall.

"Thank you Hagrid" then she turn towards us and everyone goes quite even without her saying anything, "The start of term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room."

"The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will loose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a great honour. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours."

"The sorting ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarten yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting."
