And Samuel was right, other than the young children and other newly promoted Low Rank 1 Warriors, many Peak Low Rank 1 Warriors appeared on the top of the list one after another.
However the list only stated the top 100 floors, and also rated it by the quickest to slowest.
Suddenly Samuel noticed someone skyrocket to the top of the list, reaching the 25th… 26th… 27th… 30th floor before stopping! But when he checked the name he was relieved.
SS1 of course was the one who rocketed up.
Suddenly two more figures appeared behind SS1, SS2 and A1001 all with 2 Inch Spiritual Roots. But SS1 was the only one to reach the 30th floor.
SS2 stopped at the 29th and A1001 stopped at the 27th.
But the best among those three was A1 who barely reached the 24th floor.
However when they left you could see various Pseudo-Artifacts hanging off of their bodies alongside tons of ordinary equipment.
However, to Samuels disappointment, each Middle Rank 1 Warrior who didn't reach about the 25th floor didn't have really useful equipment.
Most of the pieces of equipment had effects similar to the misty orb, which creates steam around a person.
One example is SS1's Pseudo-Artifact that he carried. A bell that can make dogs salivate when it rings. Pretty useless.
Only the rewards from the 25th floor and above were useful weapons and odd pieces of armour. However even then there were some basic leather sets of gloves with slightly boosted lifting strength.
But in general there were some decent Pseudo-Artifacts collected. This made Samuel realise he will have to expand the treasury intended for equipment.
So over the next three months Samuel built a large hall over five hundred metres long and fifty metres tall underground. It covered an incredibly large amount of space, however its protection definitely wasn't sabotaged.
The entire walls were built from Sheets of ironite sandwiching layers of spiritually reinforced stones and foundations were built with bones of Eleflares. Samuel was confident even though he couldn't break through very easily.
This was built to hold all the spare Pseudo-Artifacts and ordinary Equipment which was earnt from the Trial tower.
However this meant that the original treasury meant for Pseudo-Artifacts was only filled with the actual useful ones, intended for combat etc.
Honestly Samuel wasn't extremely happy with his defensive measures, he felt that it was too scattered around. After all, his compound was easily the size of New York City ! And hundreds of metres underground were filled with tunnels and various rooms.
In the end Samuel spent another 8 months fixing the way that it was built. In the end it resulted in a cone shaped building.
With the headquarters at the centre, directly below it is the Tomb, followed by the first floor of the treasury.
The first floor is the large Arsenal that was built and previously explained, containing the spare basic equipment and useless Pseudo-Artifacts.
Below that was another 9 layers, built for future numbers of Artifacts and herbs and other resources that might be collected.
As for the housing, they were built directly in a cone around the treasury. Starting small below it and slowly spiralling outwards before ending large close to the edges of the city walls.
This leaves plenty of space within the cone for future facilities while also ensuring the safety of the buildings within. The cone. After all, each of the houses in the cone will eventually hold a Warrior which can prevent people from digging directly to the treasury.
As for protection? Finally Samuel could converge the previously scattered Dogs of War to protect a single entrance to the Treasury.
Each floor first had one Dog of War placed on it, and the entrance to the first floor had 2 Middle Rank 1 Dogs of War and 10 Low Rank 1 Dogs of war
And the entrances to each other floor had 10 Dogs of War at each gate with no Middle Rank 1 Warriors.
This was just the right amount, and most of the Dogs of War guarding it were older ones with their potential limited to the Low Rank 1 so they spend most of the time practising basic martial arts.
Luckily they never run out of things to learn. Once they become a blackbelt in karate, they move to taekwondo, then jiu jitsu, then Martials arts that were developed for mortals over the last thousand years.
So despite small benefits from them they are still willing to learn.
Over the last year since the Trial Tower was opened, only EG1 managed to get Spiritual Fruits and peaked at the 35th Floor. After all, his strength follows Samuels, who has only just entered the High Rank 1.
All 5 Spiritual Fruits however were stored away and kept for a descendant that EG1 personally chooses. After all he earnt them.
But more importantly, Samuel added 8 more Middle Rank 1 Warriors with the benefit of the Spiritual Pool, and 2 more reached it directly through practising, and 1 more broke through after finding a Spiritual Fruit in the Eternal Battlefield.
So Samuel added 11 more Middle Rank 1 Warriors in the last year. As for his Low Rank 1 Warriors, Samuel summoned another 100 over the year to replace the unfortunate dying ones.
And a large number of newborns appeared and grew to the ripe age of practising adding closer to 500 Low Rank 1 Dogs of War, even though they are children.
However one year is a flash for Warriors, today however was a special day for one person in particular. Michael.
Because he finally received news back from the intelligence agency. But when he saw the picture of who it was his eyes almost burst out in flames.
''SAMUEL!?!'' Michael cried with outrage. The picture was actually Samuel and Sabrina sitting opposite each other inside of a restaurant. And from their hands holding in the centre they were clearly intimate.
However Michael failed to notice that EG1 who stood behind Samuel had already moved his eyes towards the Warrior who took the photo.
Over the last year Samuel had officially confirmed his engagement with Sabrina, with EG1 a now High rank 1 Warrior as a witness, Old Man Middleton was more than confident in allowing Sabrina to get with Samuel.
The wedding was officially set for a month later, which was clearly contained in the note that was handed to Michael.
Of course Samuel made it clear that she would not be his only wife, but that is commonly accepted on the planet so Old Man Middleton didn't express any upset. As for Sabrina? Although she was talented she still had to listen to Old Man Middleton.
