But Samuel was starting to see a difference. Luke's aura was dropping slowly and after another hour he returned to the ordinary Middle Rank Warrior.

However he had successfully killed 10 of Samuels Dogs of War during this time. Although none were incredibly Talented there were a few with some basic talents and even one with the Aura of Care.

This inevitably made Samuels heart sting, but when he saw the ever increasing injuries appearing on Luke's body he was incredibly satisfied.

After another hour of tough fighting Luke finally collapsed to the ground. His body pierced by a sleek black broadsword once again held by Richard.

But the injuries on Samuels side weren't low, there were three more deaths and another 2 disabilities.

But Luke was finally dying. His heart pierced by the sword as he slowly bled out. But when was a Protagonist so easy to kill?

Just as Luke was about to die a small orb floated out of the back of his head and sped towards the exit directly avoiding the 20 guards who hadn't left their station despite the tough fighting.

But their strength wasn't enough to stop the orb. It reached the large wooden doors and was about to speed out into the hallway; however a familiar white shield appeared directly in front of it.

The White shield began to expand, before forming a shield over ten times larger than it previously was. The orb tapped into it before flopping onto the ground and spinning around a few times before coming to a stop

A1 was currently crouched on the ground with a dozen warriors hands on his body slowly forcing energy into his body.

This is one of the methods to power Artifacts, multiple people can team up to bring out the better effects.

How could Samuel not prepare A1 for dealing with the Protagonists' means?

A4 walked up to the orb slowly before grasping it quickly into her hand and crushing it into pieces.

As soon as the orb broke Samuel received a strange System Prompt.

[Congratulations to the host for slaying the first Son Of Luck, Awarding 1 Special Summon. Does the host wish to use it?]

''Huh Special Summon. What does that mean System?'' Samuel was stunned and immediately asked.

[When the host kills the Sons and Daughters of Luck the host will be rewarded with a Special Summon, the Dog of War will have a Random Spiritual Root and a powerful talent.]

A random Spiritual Root?? That's incredible. It could save Samuel thousands of Spiritual Crystals if he were to get a higher level Spiritual Root. But what confused him was the second part.

''What do you mean by a powerful talent? Like the savvy talent?'' Although the Savvy Talent is good, it isn't exactly incredibly powerful. Definitely not what Samuel would put together with the Random Spiritual Root.

[The Dog of War Summoned by the Special Summon will have a talent comparable to a Son of Luck.]

Talent: Bloodline Supremacy, Void Manipulation (Ability to manipulate energy in order to recreate the void, displayed by the Son Of Luck Luke.)

Summary: Body blended with the Void. Potential is mediocre due to the 2 Inch Spiritual root but his future is endless with the Void Manipulation Ability.]

There was a lot to take in with this new profile. First of Samuel noticed that the Spiritual Root is promotable, as the promotion method he doesn't know what it is yet however the fact that it can be improved is a good sign.

Next is the Void Manipulation Talent, naturally this is the Son of Luck Talent that the system said was included. And of course the Void Manipulation talent is what Luke used in his fight.

Even in the First Rank it allows SS1 to use the void to create smoke and hide his movements. In the future when SS1 increases in Rank he can use it to teleport, hide in the void and even store objects in the Void.

But the only thing that caused Samuel to want to cry was the Curse of the Genius, this stopped his idea of having SS1 have children who could potentially have a 2 Inch Spiritual root.

Of course he understood that this was mostly to prevent a loophole in the system.

Naturally this doesn't mean that the Children SS1 has will be the same as ordinary Dogs of War, they will naturally have their own benefits but they are yet to be seen. Samuel just suspected they would be slightly more talented.

SS1 was immediately sent to practice with no distractions while A1 cleared up the battlefield.

Luke still had a lot of good things on him. There was one Pseudo Artifact and the ten Spiritual Crystals that Luke won from the competition. More importantly there was a small Orange.

This was the Spiritual Fruit that Luke won in the Competition. Samuel made the executive decision to give the Spiritual Fruit to SS1, he is definitely going to be the main genius in the organisation for a while.

As for the losses, Samuel wasn't too distressed. 13 Dogs of War died but A32 earnt 15 Spiritual Crystals from the Youth Tournament with Lukes reward.

This means that Samuel actually gained 2 Dogs of War after he used all the crystals to summon some more.

For the two Dogs of War with disabilities, they could now focus fully on developing their family. One had lost a leg and the other had lost their sight in one eye. Not the worst case scenario however it would still stop them from fighting properly as a warrior.

Although they will continue to practice they are unlikely to be used in a battle in the future. Rather they will just be used as Guards for a certain place. For example when Samuel plans on expanding the treasury, or other secret places such as the Portal to the Ruins.
