Chapter 334

The Candle Pillars are easy to defend and difficult to attack. Rank 2 Warriors can fly, but only temporarily and it takes a lot of energy to fly for a while.

And Rank 1 Warriors definitely can't fly. So it is almost impossible to attack the Pillars with a lot of soldiers.

Luckily there are different pathways up, after all the Harpies need to bring up carts occasionally. But their racial advantage is that they could fly! So the pathways are extremely treacherous.

In charge of this assault was Lily herself, alongside one of her most trusted and strongest siblings Lexi.

Lexi has a Lower-Level Physique that gives the warriors under her control a 5% increase to agility.

Her own strength has reached high Rank 2 for a while and she has a lot of experience leading soldiers.

So Lily decided to undertake the hardest occupation.

''Lets go!''

Lily stood in front of a 200,000 strong Legion. Their blue armour glinted in the sky as they marched uniformly.

In comparison to the last time Lily led the legion, this time the warriors were all bathed in blood on the Abyssal Battlefield.

They suffered over 100,000 Losses, but the remaining warriors are all exquisite fighters with dozens of battles under their belts.

Of course the remaining soldiers were left in the Abyssal Battlefield. In the eyes of most people the contributions on the Abyssal Battlefield are the most important.

The potential purchases are actually incredible. There are strong artifacts, territories, even Military arrays are available to purchase! However the price is incredible.

They follow the same pattern as the military positions. Only points collected by individual people can be used to trade. So forces can't stack together a set of points.

Even more shocking is that you can choose either promotions or resources.

Samuel has more than a million warriors across the Abyss battlefield at the moment. So even if he has a lot of kills each second, the actual collection of points is quite slow.

Even the Low-Level Mortal Artifacts aren't easily affordable. And a lot of Dogs of War in the Abyss Battlefield don't survive long enough to collect any points!

It is a brutal bloodbath there and the survival rate for low level warriors is less than 10%!

However the massive amount of resources from the bodies and the Abyssal Blood allows for a quick turnaround and a rapid increase in number of warriors.

Therefore the number of warriors on the Battlefield hasn't decreased, but instead increased as more and more warriors get interested and enter.

So Lily didn't want to miss out on the battle. Hence her only bringing 200,000 Warriors this time.

And Samuel gave an order this time. If the participants use their own warriors they get 15% of the Mortal Population, but if they use Samuels soldiers they only get 10%.

Quickly Lily arrived at the target location. The Candle Pillars. There were seven colossal pillars like seven bullets pointing into the air.

The top was lined with giant bird nests. Only one pillar had a pathway up, leading to the top of the closest pillar.

The pillars were connected by large earthy platforms, clearly artificially created for the purpose of moving resources.

As you follow the only path up, it spiralled around the base with dozens of fortresses blocking the path.

''So these are harpies?''

Lily looked at the figures that floated around the Pillars in amazement. Their top bodies were that of humans with giant feathery wings spreading proudly behind them. However the coarse feathers showed the poor quality of their bloodline.

Their lower bodies were that of chickens with large talons presenting sharp nails. Large feathers spread across their chicken like legs.

''Stop! Who are you!''

Suddenly a dozen figures floated in the distance and stared down on the legion. Their strength was only High Rank 1 but they could fly with their wings.

''Greetings Candle Pillar Immigrants. I am Lily Lanford an Envoy from the Lanford Family.''

Lily floated in the air, exuding her powerful aura as she rose. Her powerful Rank 3 strength caused the Harpies wings to shake and their bodies to sweat as they tried to remain steady.

''The Lanford Family? Never heard of it. Leave now.''

The Harpies held a stern look. His weak strength was unable to determine that Lily was stronger than his ancestors!

''You have two options. Surrender or die.''

Lily didn't bother wasting her time with these weaklings.

''We will never surrender!'' The Harpies immediately shouted in anger.

Lily sighed and expected it. The information on the Candle Pillar Immigrants showed they were abused under a Tyrants Rule and barely escaped. Of course they wouldn't submit to someone else.

''Very well.''

Lily waved her hand and a dozen spikes appeared in the sky, piercing deep into the Harpies throats.

''Advance!''

Lily shouted and the army marched forward uniformly.

Quickly they reached the first path. To Lily's dismay it is only large enough to fit 100 people side by side and is covered by spiky rocks and damaged

''Form orderly lines lets go!''

Lily separated her soldiers up and they slowly marched up the side of the Pillar.

''Fire!''

Suddenly a cry sounded from the sides. Lily glared upwards only to see hundreds of rocks and arrows flying down.

''You dare!''

Lily's hands crossed in front of her body. From every direction spiritual energy began to condense, forming countless small spinning snowflakes.

They span around blocking the hundreds of arrows from the air.

''Do you think you can do such petty attacks under my eyes?''

This officially angered Lily.

She stared at the giant stone fortress in front of her and her hands waved into the air once again.

Slowly a giant monstrosity formed like an ancient ice golem appearing in the air. It had snow falling off its shoulders as it shook its body and charged towards the giant castle walls.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
