Chapter 313

''A green leaf? Why is this relevant.''

Lily showed an angry look. And glared at a Family Government official.

''Family Head please forgive me. We found something weird about this leaf, we suspect that it is extremely powerful!''

The official bowed slightly, trembling in fear.

''A powerful leaf? Where is it?''

Lily's curiosity was piqued.

''According to the warrior that reported it, he found it in the middle of a Lake. It is on a Spiritual Fruit Tree and they planned to dig it up and relocate it. But when they got close a beast attacked them.''

''They suspect that the beast has the bloodline of a Kirin and is tasked with protecting the tree. However the beast is at least a Middle Rank 3 Creature.''

Lily heard it and her brows furrowed. Such an incident is unusual. Just a mere Spiritual Fruit tree is far from valuable enough to qualify it for a creature with the Kirin Bloodline!

Kirins, like Dragons and Phoenixes are a Top-Level Species with an incredible background. But they survive in a different way to their peers.

Kirins are the epitome of good luck. Any force that has them is bound to usher in a millennia of good luck. Even creatures with a Kirin Bloodline will be highly sought after as the guardians of families.

But because of this blessing, Kirins can't be born casually. Each time one is born it must be the condensation of luck, meaning their births are highly coincidental and extremely difficult to occur.

Because of this Kirins are unable to create their own forces. There just simply isn't enough of them! To counteract this they willingly find forces to subjugate themselves too as a form of protection, to avoid the hunt of strong warriors.

This is normally the same for beasts with a Kirin Bloodline.

They are equally as sought after and it is rare to see them around.

What makes Kirins even more special is that they can't be subdued if you just want to. Instead the family has to have a strong enough condensation of luck to be able to draw in a Kirin!

So to be able to get a Kirin Bloodline beast to protect a Spiritual Fruit Tree? Preposterous.

''There must be something strange about it.''

Lily tapped on the desk. This leaf definitely interested her.

''Send someone to keep their eyes on it. I will consult my father about this.''

Lily vanished from her spot. The importance of the leaf and a Kirin Species far outweighs her jurisdiction.

''An Eternal Leaf!''

Samuel exclaimed after hearing his daughter's information.

''An Eternal Leaf?''

Lily's eyes widened. Of course she had heard about the leaves. It was one of the most renowned things across the Eternal Battlefield!

What is the concept of a forcible promotion of a Large Realm! It directly ignores talent. It is a life saving straw for countless people and possible to increase the combat power of anyone!

More importantly, it comes from the tree at the centre of the Eternal Battlefield! Lily only knew this from the stories that her father told her when she was a child. Otherwise this thing is too illusionary.

''Haha this is really a great reward! Lets go.''

Samuel stood up instantly. His body vanished, reappearing in the large Dogs of War hall with Lily beside him.

''Call everyone over. Let's go!''

Samuel rushed towards the Portal Room.

Quickly after five minutes of waiting, EG1, EG2 and 1,000 Brocade Guards appeared in the hall.

The air twisted slightly and three more figures appeared. Shamus in a teachers suit, Arnold dressed in a green robe and Owen in a strange red robe.

''Greetings Father, you called?''

Samuel nodded slightly and the three children took their spots beside him.

''Lets go.''

They quickly entered the Eternal Battlefield. Appearing about a hundred miles away from a large lake.

With Samuels excellent eyesight he could see a large tree spanning hundreds of metres tall. Dozens of Spiritual Fruits hung from the leaves as the branches waved slightly in the air.

But most noticeable was a large vine that spanned around the tree. It reached the apex and a small and incredible leaf was hung off the green vine.

It seemed to have endless patterns on it, Samuels attention was focused on it from the beginning his eyes enraptured from it.

However Samuels attention quickly moved to a beast resting nobly at the base of the tree. It was sort of like a horse but it held two antler-like horns on its head.

A giant blue mane spread down its neck and its hooves seemed to be cracked like a sheet of ice.

It is indisputably a beast containing the Kirin Bloodline. However its sleek blue colours suggest that it is of impure blood.

However Samuel didn't care. Ever since he set eyes on the majestic beast he felt as if his soul was being drawn to it. His Luck Plunder Skill screams to bring this beast under his control.

And the system seemed to have the same idea.

[Ding]

[Congratulations to the Host for unlocking a new Urgent Task]

[Urgent Task- Subdue the beast containing the Kirin Bloodline, 'Frosty Kirin'. Reward: Loyalty of the Kirin, Guardian Beast Nest]

Samuels eyes immediately squinted looking at the beast. Originally he thought of just killing it and relying on his Luck Plunder Skill to gain the luck within the beast.

But now, how could he be so foolish.

''System what do you class as subduing a Kirin?''

Samuel couldn't help but ask. It definitely isn't the same way that he subdues his Heroine, god no.

[Kirins are a creature born of great luck. Even beasts with their bloodline are a conductor of Good luck and fortune. They pick their leaders willingly or not at all. If you want to subdue the Kirin please show your worth and value to earn it's respect.]

''Interesting. Good luck and fortune huh?''

Samuels eyes tilted slightly.

''Go, call Sarah, Situ and get someone to bring Betsy here. Ensure there are enough guards around Betsy. If there is a single scratch on her body I promise that you won't live to see another day.''

Samuel turned and ordered one of the Dark Guards that surrounded him in secret.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
