Chapter 117

It is only ten acres large right now, and it can barely grow twenty tons of Spiritual Herbs. However, just that required Samuel to spend over five years of income to purchase a rare blue steel brick.

This Blue Steel brick is the strongest material Samuel can afford, but it is expensive on its own. Samuel built a ten metre wall around the farm, wide enough to have a Dog of War patrolling it.

And Samuel realised why it takes so many warriors to protect the farms. There were easily hundreds of Rank 1 beasts attacking each week!

So in the end Samuel stationed 1,000 Dogs of War there. Probably more than necessary but he wanted to be careful.

And the corpses of the Beasts were also a good income, it saved him from needing to buy so much beast meat from stores.

And Samuel started to realise that although Blue Star is profitable, it can't get him what he needs until he has the strength to take over some land for himself.

The only benefit right now is that the energy there is much stronger than the other two planes. So the practice speed is rapid.

Of course it is also easy to purchase items on BlueStar. The internet still exists and there's private internet for the warriors. Which allows them to search for suppliers who sell all sorts of materials.

This is one of the reasons why the Caterpillar Isles and Eltorn Paradise develop slowly. They can't turn their products into wealth unless they come across a travelling merchant which is incredibly rare.

The Eltorn Paradise got lucky, and could sell their products to the elves, but all of their wealth was given back as tribute for the Water of Life.

And after A1 refused to send the tribute to the Elves in the first year, they of course didn't contact the small plane anymore. In fact it is all managed by a sub race of the elves anyway, in a medium level plane.

They couldn't care less about the lower level planes, unless they are large in population or pure in bloodline.

This is lucky and unlucky for Samuel. He hoped to be able to procure resources from a Top Level Species, but of course he can't pay 5,000 Spiritual Crystals every year!

The only way that the previous Eltorns managed was by selling countless pieces of product they produced, and having all the warriors work overtime collecting resources.

And even then they only managed to save after ten or even twenty years before they could buy it! The so-called Yearly tribute was only for wealthy civilisations!

The rest of the lower level planes live in hunger to barely get tributes out!

Samuel also learnt that the Eltorns were unbelievably poor because of their tributes, and the Liquid was always given to the strong members of the tribe to break through.

And more importantly, one vial had to be kept each time in order to summon the tree if necessary.

Unfortunately they met Samuel, otherwise a normal army with only Rank 1 Warriors might've fallen.

The next step was for Samuel to summon his Planetary clone in the Eltorn Paradise. But this time he had no clue what it would do, because he didn't need to experience life as a King!

But right now he focused on securing a body to produce his clone out of. Although he wanted a Rank 3 Body, he really couldn't afford it.

So his focus turned to stronger Rank 2 Bodies. His attention was finally caught when he saw an auction happening in a large city.

It is a second-tier city, but this one is quite strange. It is completely run and controlled by the Government, there are no outside organisations involved at all.

Because it was built as a financial hub for the weaker organisations to meet and organise. The mortals who are permitted to work there are all checked by the government, and work as salesmen.

So even if the size of the city is comparable to a Second-Tier City with billions of people, it only has a million people in total.

Most of the space in the city is occupied by storage facilities for shops.

But once a year they hold an Auction. Samuel had never been interested, or had the financial means to enter. But with his growing force the Spiritual crystals he can earn are increasing.

Except for spending 1,000 Spiritual crystals on summoning another 2 Inch Spiritual Root Dog of War, he saved 4,000 Spiritual Crystals.

Of course this is the combination of the Caterpillar Isles and the Eltorn Paradises wealth. And as it turns out the Eltorn Paradise makes Samuel a lot of money, specifically from their furniture and unique products.

After all, they are still related to Elves, the products are scarce but widely searched for. And the top tier elves disdain to sell their furniture to a Medium Level planet like Bluestar.

However Samuel was happy with the savings he had collected. He had to sell a lot of Lemoncide and produced equipment to save so much. And the Dogs of War worked hard to explore the Eternal battlefield.

Another large source of income was definitely from Caterpillar Samuel, because he had spent all his time over the years split between two things. Managing the Plane, and waking up more chess pieces.

His army had easily doubled in size. Actually far surpassing it.

The Low Rank 1 Warriors he has, reached 1,500 alone! But he still only has 10 High Rank 1 Statues. Because they cost a lot and take half a year to recover from alone!

So it's better to have more numbers, at least right now.

And these Statues could work perpetually without food and without wasting energy. So the resources they collected stacked up.

All of this, and lessened spending due to the plentiful amount of beast corpses and a small supply of herbs, allowed Samuel to save up a lot of crystals just for this auction.

Because he heard there was going to be a valuable body at this auction.
