After collecting the resources, Samuel hurried back to the Caterpillar Isles. He planted the 3 Spiritual Fruit Trees.
The only thing that made Samuel upset was that the clone got this chance. As Samuel found out, all the trees and fruits can only be used by the warrior children born from the Dogs of War and the Caterpillar people.
Who are inherently weaker than those of a similar level, due to the weak bloodline of the Caterpillars.
What was even more annoying, was that the Jade Soldiers could only be withdrawn on the Eternal Battlefield and the Caterpillar Isles.
Samuel tried sending one to bluestar but it disappeared and reappeared back in the Caterpillar isles.
So he gave up on that idea. He realised that the system is rigid. But at the same time Samuel was happy.
He didn't want to rely on this pavilion to solely increase his strength. It was an outside source, at most it could be used to retrieve resources for his Dogs of War to develop from the Eternal Battlefield.
For the next couple of months, Caterpillar Samuel spent days locked up with Spiritual Crystals, using the energy to awaken the jade soldiers.
However even after 6 months, he only awakened 1 High Rank 1 Piece, 10 Middle Rank 1 Pieces and 200 Low Rank 1 Pieces.
A good force, but slow development.
However Caterpillar Samuel sent them through the portal on the Caterpillar Isles and they systematically hunted and returned beast meat to the isles.
Which one again can only be used by the natives of the Isles.
But this increased resources made some of the children here have better supplies than the Dogs of War on BlueStar.
Even the native Mortals who were Transitional Dogs of War got some benefits. The talented officials ate like kings, eating beast meat they never dreamed of seeing before.
Samuels Main body experienced this scene and felt regret when he saw a large influx of resources be used in a small Lower Level Plane.
But he didn't care too much, it was all his strength after all. And only the Clone can't be used in other territories. The rest of the soldiers could transfer between them freely.
And Samuel's own Dog of War system is better than a measly Pavilion inherited from a ruin. But it never hurts to have more benefits, especially for one of his clones.
If every 6 months Caterpillar Samuel can gain a powerful force, it shouldn't be difficult to raise the average level on the Lower Level Plane.
So Samuels main body naturally couldn't fall far behind! Samuel felt it was finally time for his main body to make a breakthrough.
His stored Spiritual Energy is plentiful, and his soul has matched, no, exceeded his expectations.
So Samuel entered a small hidden basement in the Dogs of War Compound. EG1 stood guard, with SS1, SS2 and the newly promoted A1001!
Samuel had already experienced a breakthrough to Rank 2 once, however this time it was different.
When the energy poured around his body, Samuel felt an unprecedented sweetness and comfortability. His body actually shivered with the pleasant feeling.
The whirlwind in his body condensed rapidly, skipping the cup stages and directly forming a puddle. The puddle grew quickly, deeper and denser than his clones.
Within the puddle you could see shadows of Dogs of Wars floating. This level of strength was the crystallisation of the hard work his summons had put in.
The puddle rapidly grew, each drop containing energy double, no triple Samuels previous whirlwind.
His body condensed, his muscles shrank. His body turned lean like a malnourished child. However he willed the Spiritual Liquid in his body to flow and his body ballooned up returning to its previous state.
Samuels soul also experienced a metamorphosis. Originally it was tainted with bloodlust left over from years of fighting in his clone's body.
But now the purity of his spiritual energy white washed it. Samuels face turned indifferent, uncaring, omniscient.
Different from the fiery attitude he had when manipulating the Clone. Nothing in the world could taint him. Nothing could influence his decisions.
Samuels breakthrough was complete. And next came EG1's. He quickly broke through to match Samuels cultivation. With none of the effort.
Samuel was ecstatic at the breakthrough. Rank 2! One step higher in the ruthless hierarchy in this world.
And as he broke through, Samuel learnt something. The auras that mortals and warriors develop aren't separate talents. They are the souls' unique state.
Mortals with caring souls will have the aura of Care. Mortals who long for power will have the Domineering Aura and so on.
Auras are directly linked to the souls of warriors. But Samuel was just too weak to realise it before.
But now even though he is only slightly higher on the runger, he was qualified to learn this.
After Samuels break through and EG1's break through, Samuel devoted himself to learning.
Previously he underestimated the importance of education. In the previous war with his clone, Samuel definitely wouldn't have won if it wasn't for him reading books and information.
So Samuel gathered all the academically based Dogs of War to teach him. With his boosted soul and strength he learnt quickly.
Three years passed just like that. Samuel learnt everything from Mathematics to Geography. He learnt how to produce mechanics, how to work electronic circuits. How to smelt metals, how to farm.
He learnt cultural practices of all different continents, he learnt science. He learnt herbology.
He even learnt about subjects that are seemingly useless, like how to act and how to sing! Anything he could learn he did. Of course he only learnt the basic practice over these three years.
Even Samuel had to learn for longer than ten years if he wanted to know all of this knowledge.
