"..."
"!!!"
After looking around for a bit and confirming the lack of reinforcements, the hooded man stepped over the pile of groaning bodies and walked straight towards the two sisters, causing both of them to flinch…
"?"
Only to start repeatedly blinking in confusion as he moved right past them, stopping further in the alley with his back turned to them, shifting in unease before…
*pshhhhhhh*
"...ahhhhhhh…"
…relieving himself right there and there with a satisfied sigh, causing the ammonia-scented steam to rise en masse in the cold air.
"You two should get away from here before the reinforcements from other cities arrive through the teleportation array."
"!!!"
The hooded man spoke up while shaking off, causing the sisters to flinch.
"Hmph! As if I'm going to listen to someone who talks to women with his dick in hand."
The white-haired girl pouted and scoffed, staring daggers at the man's back.
"If it bothers you so much, Miss, you can suck it. That'll show me."
"YOU…!"
The unbothered man snickered, causing the white-haired girl's face to turn bright red as she gasped in outrage.
"..."
"S-sis…!?"
Shockingly enough, the brown-haired woman gulped down her saliva and stepped forward… approaching the hooded man to her younger sister's horror.
"You… you can't be serious…! Sis…! Sister!"
The white-haired girl called out in disbelief, but as she got no response, her voice grew desperate.
"Adrianna!"
"...!"
The white-haired girl cried out, rushing after her sister in a last-ditch effort, accidentally causing the hooded man to straighten his back and stare back at them.
"W-wait… Miss Adrianna…?!"
The stupefied hooded man gasped, staring at the brown-haired girl who stopped only two steps behind him.
"Hello, your Highness… or, if I'm still allowed to say that, Ace."
"ACE?! Ace Adonis?!"
The brown-haired woman curtsied to the hooded man and said shyly, causing her sister to call out in disbelief, taking a few steps back.
"!!!"
Ace hurriedly fixed his attire and turned around, seemingly unable to find the right words.
"Ace, what is happening? What was the purpose of fighting every guard and adventurer in the city…?"
Adrianna clenched her fists and asked hesitantly.
"You could have stopped at any time… Ace… as a King of Silveria…"
"I'm just a figurehead."
The brown-haired woman pointed out with a worried expression, to which Ace raised his hand to stop her and clarified bitterly.
"My eldest sister is missing. Gone without a trace. But I was forbidden from looking for her as a student… so I… HIC…! As the figurehead of a ruler of a subservient nation, I can't just graduate early or drop out… I'll just have to make a mess big enough to get expelled~"
The hooded man answered, raising his head and staring at the winter sky, first bitterly, then gradually falling into a morbid amusement, not without hiccuping, though.
"...Perseverance almighty…! That's the stupidest reasoning I've heard!"
The white-haired girl rejoined the conversation, calling out in disbelief.
"...I'd say it's… hic… reasonable enough…"
"There's no way that you think tha…"
Ace shrugged his shoulders and looked away, making Adrianna point out, only to flinch and freeze up.
"..."
"...?"
She then slowly approached the hiccuping man, making him lean back but not move away even when she got right in front of him.
Then, Adrianna raised her hands and pulled down Ace's hood, revealing his face.
The stubble was one thing, but his bloodshot and unfocused eyes told her everything she needed to know.
"...you are completely drunk, aren't you…?"
"I don't understand what it has to do with… hic… anything…"
Adrianna whispered with a pained expression, to which Ace shrugged his shoulders dismissively.
"Well, drunk or not. It's too late to do anything about what happened here. Too many witnesses."
"Clara. Don't."
The white-haired girl shrugged her shoulders and pointed out, but her older sister closed her eyes and said to her before focusing back on the drunk man.
"Wait… he did ALL THAT while drunk!? Since when can he do that?!"
Clara flinched and gasped in a sudden realization but was ignored.
"Ace. When did your sister go missing?"
"A couple of weeks ago."
Adrianna gently held Ace's face and asked, having him answer in a dispirited voice.
"Sis, we have to go. It's too late to do anything! I don't know where you know him from, but we should ditch him and…"
"Clara. I'm not holding you back. You can act on your own."
Clara looked back as if expecting more people to come their way any minute now, but Adrianna had none of it, cutting her off in a cold voice.
"Ace. Use your ability to make everyone here unable to reveal your identity, and come with me."
"Sis!?"
She then leaned in and said to Ace, causing her younger sister to cry out in disbelief.
"...how will that…"
"It will help. Because I will help you with finding your sister. Or at least, with looking for her."
The drunk green-haired man grumbled, but the brown-haired woman declared sternly, making him flinch and stare at her in shock.
"I promise."
"..."
Adrianna added, blushing slightly under Ace's intense gaze.
"Sis. Alright, I get it. You clearly are into him, but from what I know, his ability isn't strong enough for something like that! Let's leave and, I don't know, you can visit him in prison or…"
Clara walked back up to her sister and grabbed onto her clothes, tugging onto it to make her step away from the drunken man, but then tensed up.
The green-haired monarch nodded to Adrianna before reaching out his hand to the side towards the piles of incapacitated people and…
"This King takes away your right to disclose his identity as the culprit behind this fight."
*THUMP*
He declared, and an invisible pressure slammed down on what felt like the entire city, with the invisible shockwave spreading to every single corner of every single structure.
"...what in the world…?!"
The white-haired girl gasped in disbelief, shaking her head in an attempt to get rid of the indescribable pressure.
"Clara, help me out."
"...eh? Oh, NOW he's swaying!"
Adrianna called out as she stepped in and supported Ace from the side, preventing him from falling face-first to the ground, making her younger sister scoff in annoyance but help out nonetheless.
And so, before any reinforcements arrived at the scene, the two sisters escaped the scene while half-dragging the barely conscious King of Silveria into the back alley.
