"Please come in, Silver Dragon Lady." The green dragon maid opened a door, stood aside, and gestured forward, "His Highness Muria is inside, waiting for your arrival."
"Muria? His Highness?"
Although she had just been startled by the red dragon, the silver dragon quickly stabilized her mood, keenly noticing the green dragon maid's form of address.
"His Highness!" This title instantly set the silver dragon's mind racing. Dragons do not use this title lightly, as it represents an absolute ruling level in dragon lineage.
Combined with Kaslana's insistence on waking her from sleep to attend the banquet, the young silver dragon immediately had her own guess.
Following through the open door, Silver Dragon Claire entered with growing curiosity.
But, as soon as she entered, Claire saw a green-haired woman dressed as a maid, standing by the side with an indifferent look at her, which made the silver dragon, transformed into a silver-haired elf girl, tremble inside. Another dragon, and one whose strength she could not fathom.
"Is this my sister Kaslana's castle, or a den of chromatic dragons? Why are there so many of them?"
Seeing the elf girl at the door with a trace of panic, as if wanting to flee, the green dragon Fiona, who deliberately released her own pressure, smiled slightly and stepped aside, revealing the small figure standing in front of the crystal floor-to-ceiling window to the silver dragon.
"Gold Dragon!" When Claire saw the figure in front of the window, she breathed a sigh of relief.
This aura was unmistakable; it was the aura of a gold dragon, finally seeing a metallic dragon instead of chromatic ones.
"Silverfrost's Wrath, Claire Rifield."
The young silver dragon looked at Fiona, who stood aside with her head bowed, and, gathering her courage, approached the small figure in the room, who was turned away from her. Stopping less than ten meters away, Claire bowed to the youth who was shorter than her current form and introduced herself, a gesture that seemed quite humble. But feeling Muria's aura, Silver Dragon Claire found nothing improper with such a gesture; it seemed only right.
"My name is Muria Iapetos Elonsas!" The black-haired, golden-eyed youth slowly turned around, facing the silver dragon who seemed a bit anxious, and showed a very sunny smile, "Hello, Silver Dragon Claire!"
"Elonsas!" Hearing Muria introduce himself, Silver Dragon Claire exclaimed in surprise, "The Golden Blaze, Lady Atreus is your..."
"My mother." Before Silver Dragon Claire could finish, Muria provided the answer, and his smile gradually faded.
From the silver dragon's reaction, it seemed she was also a fervent admirer of Dragon Mother Atreus.
Following this, the silver dragon, now in the form of an elegant and noble elf, proved Muria's guess correct.
After learning of Muria's identity, the young silver dragon began to incessantly inquire about everything related to Dragon Mother... her favorite activities, her diet, her meditation habits, her research into new spells... much like the fervent fans of celebrities in a previous life.
This Silver Dragon Claire, unlike the reserved golden dragon lady, lost all semblance of the silver dragon's traditional elegance with her demeanor.
...
Watching the petite silver dragon girl leave, Muria stretched his face, which had grown somewhat stiff from the effort of dealing with his mother's fervent admirer's gossip.
To be honest, although he was the biological offspring of Dragon Mother Atreus, he had spent very little real time with his mother and had hardly had a few proper conversations.
Through his chat with this admirer of his mother, Muria realized a significant problem: his knowledge of his own mother was even less than that of an external dragon.
He was unaware of Dragon Mother's famous battles, her renowned victories, or her signature spells... In short, when the young silver dragon girl recounted Dragon Mother's achievements to Muria as if reciting treasures.
Muria maintained a calm facade, but internally, he was continuously bewildered... "Wow! Is this powerful dragon really my mom?" After Silver Dragon Claire finished, Muria's reaction was... "So my mom is that amazing!" ...
As Muria sat reflecting on whether he was an unfit son, the green dragon maid came up again to report: a gold dragon wished to meet him!
...
"Another one here to talk about my mom," Muria slouched in a teak chair, watching a golden-haired young man with a scholarly demeanor leave.
...
"Your Highness Muria, a crystal dragon has come to visit and hopes to..."
"Let him come up."
...
Silver dragons, gold dragons, crystal dragons, bronze dragons, red copper dragons, amethyst dragons, emerald dragons... Muria found that his acquaintance in this continent, his big sister among gold dragons, Kaslana, really had a wide circle of friends.
The metallic dragon race's five major types, she knew several of each kind, and even among the neutral gemstone dragons, she knew a bunch. Her networking ability was terrifying.
The banquet she held for him seemed to have invited all the dragons she knew.
Now, the number of dragons who had come at her invitation exceeded a hundred, and this number was still increasing.
The increasing number of dragons attending the banquet should have pleased Muria.
However, Muria discovered a very vexing fact: because he and his group of chromatic dragons had taken over one of the six auxiliary towers in Kaslana's castle, many dragons attending the banquet were very curious about him.
Then, the first silver dragon girl, Claire, who came to visit, whenever she saw dragons curious about the one occupying a mage tower, eagerly told them that the resident of the tower was the legendary dragon, the offspring of the Golden Blaze Atreus.
This answer only fueled the dragons' curiosity, leading some to seek an audience with Muria. But, due to the dozen or so human-formed, maid- and butler-dressed green dragons at the tower's base, most of whom were adolescent dragons with only gold-level strength, many hesitated.
Still, a portion of the dragons, boasting soul-level strength and confident in their abilities, dared to face those green dragons... Thus, after meeting Silver Dragon Claire, Muria continuously received visits from several soul-level dragons.
Originally, this wouldn't have been an issue, but these dragons came to him with conversations that invariably circled back to Dragon Mother.
In short, the dragons that came to Muria were all there to talk about his mother, one after another, without pause.
