Chapter 15: Deep Realization

“What are you looking at?”

Wendy asked, completely unsettled at how April stood greatly engrossed and reluctant to throw a step forward.

“Oh ma'am, I'm sorry, I was sleeping and walking again.” April responded, trying to talk her out of it.

She dashed into her class immediately to avoid any further interrogation.

The door opens as Nancy strutted her way in.

“Welcome ma'am..

Where's my son?

"My husband's personal assistant couldn't come to take him, so that's why I came instead."

"Caleb's baby, mummy is here .”

He turned his back a little, staring at Nancy whilst the other eyes went round surveying for any trace of her favorite school teacher - April.

Wendy added…

“Get him his lunch pack.” Ordering one of the other teachers there.

“Alright, thank you so much Wendy, bye for now.”

Nancy carried Caleb as they went straight inside the car.

“Oh, I forgot the lesson note on Ma'am's desk.” April remembered, frantically rushing back to go get it.
