Another Baby

AT THE HOSPITAL

Nancy is seen in a blue curvy gown as her other hand holds her abdomen really tight. Sluggishly she yanked the door open.

Doctor Derrick jerks in shock, eyebrows raised, trying to decipher what the problem was.

“You are good for nothing man, just pray this is not a miscarriage.”

Nancy yelled, pinching her eyes so deeply and releasing almost immediately.

Doctor Derrick fidgeted for a minute, the pacing of his heart increased drastically, his mouth agape trying to say something.

“Ma'am, you have to take it easy.”

He beckoned.

Nancy fired back without hesitation.

“How dare you? Why didn't you inform me?”

“Ma'am, it skips my memory, if you could remember vividly, I only told you that fateful day that you would be able to give birth after one year.”

Doctor Derrick explained, as thick sweat engulfed his sleeves.
