Xianwu walked back as Fa ling looked at her, she smiled. "Okay then, first let's head to General Senlin and General Shijei!" she thought making her way out. Suddenly she bumped into someone. "I'm sorry!" Xianwu apologized immediately. Shashou on the other hand laughed "Xiao Yue, what's the hurry. No need to apologise." He patted her head. Xianwu looked at him embarrassingly "Brother Shashou! I am really an idiot… You aren't hurt or are you?" she asked. Shashou laughed louder. "Haha! Silly girl. Who do you think I am? Did you forget I'm even stronger than you?" Xianwu laughed back "Haha! Silly me." "By the way, did you meet the Emperor?" Shashou asked.

"Yes, I did. Brother Shashou if you don't mind… can you tell me where the palaces of General Senlin and General Shijei are?" Xianwu asked. "Oh! Those two? Their palaces are at the end of the 3rd lane the moment you descend from the heavenly palace." He responded. "Thank you." Xianwu replied rushing downstairs, turning around she added "I'll talk to you again brother Shashou, Thank you! And I apologise for before." "Be careful Xianwu, construction works are going on there." he advised waving back. Shashou with a deep breath thought "Xianwu… playful as always…" he turned around and walked inside the heavenly palace.

Shashou walked in the palace, and seeing the emperor in a tense mood he asked "You met Xianwu my lord?" Zhijun nodded already sensing his presence. "How did you know?" he asked. "I met Xianwu before and even outside now as well and to tell the truth. Your expression tells it all." Shashou replied. Zhijun stated "I asked Xianwu… to visit the Yue kingdom hoping that she would make up her mind to stay here but she refused…" Shashou slightly surprised asked "Heeh… could it be that you are unhappy with her reply?"

Zhijun didn't reply back. He stood up and picked the scrolls which Shashou kept in front of the table. Shashou smiled "My lord… Yue Xianwu is not the Yue Xianwu you know from the past… she changed after waking up a 1000 years later, many had forgotten her but she tend to remember everyone exactly like yesterday. Even if she is reborn in the inferno city, the fact that she even thought to remember us after all that happened to her in the past it is very considerable of her." Zhijun listened carefully.

Shashou added "Moreover, If Yue Leiren sees her… I don't think it will be good. The place she stays in now is the best I think, if she wishes to come back, then we can gladly welcome her." Zhijun stared at the scrolls, his expression grim "And what if… she can't live in the place she wants to live now as well?" he asked. Shashou halted in his steps unable to grab hold of what he said.

Xianwu rushed towards the third lane. She could see the construction taking place. Shijei stood in front of his palace, looking at the roof. Xianwu walked towards him. Looking at her sight Shijei gasped in wonder. "You?!" he asked in confusion. Xianwu was about to bow and greet him but suddenly remembered the last time in the forest. The way he shouted on her was unforgettable. Xianwu stood straight nodding "Yes. It's me…" she muttered. Shijei was out of words as he tried to ignore her looking sideways.

Xianwu gulped with her heart beating fast "I am here... to give you these." She said showing the golden jewels. Shijei with the look of them was stupefied. "Wha-t in the- wor-…?!" he stuttered in disbelief as Xianwu interrupted. "I promised you to compensate you! So this is not much, No, but it's too less… but still I'll give half to you and half to Senlin and more after I complete the other missions." Xianwu was flustered. She didn't felt embarrassed on how low she acted in front of those who were under her in the past but, how worthless she had become now in front of their eyes. So worthless that she even couldn't meet them eye to eye.

However, Shijei on the other hand had become as stiff as stone. A moment ago he was even stuttering but now he had really become a stone himself. Suddenly a voice barged in "Good heavens~ street robbing is this ordinary now, I can't believe it?" Senlin went past in between Xianwu and Shijei. Shijei on the other hand shouted annoyed "Hey! What do you mean? How could you say I'm robbing?" Senlin clicked her tongue ignoring him. Xianwu looking at her gasped "General Senlin, you can also take half of them!" Senlin looked at Xianwu irritatingly as she argued "Oh! How many will you give me?" Xianwu took out four jewels from the pouch as she stood in front of her "It's really a small amount but I promise I'll return you more." She told committed.

Senlin with her sight smirked "what do you think, is its worth, Yue Xianwu?" she asked sneering with disgust. Xianwu was shocked. "My palace in front of you has thousands of jewels like these, what you are trying to do saying you'll compensate us. Don't you know it's not even worth it? Really? And here I thought you'd learn from the past but how silly of me. You're still the same!" Senlin smirked leaving a confused Xianwu behind. Xianwu felt like she had been thrown straight into a mud pit.

Shijei on the other hand looked shocked as well. He glanced at Xianwu who stood there with her expression widened. He scratched his head as he said "Don't take her wrong… she just meant you should save it for yourself. And don't worry about the compensation thing at all…" Xianwu quietly kept the jewels in her pouch and walked back. Shijei stared at her as she went back. "Dammit!" he shouted when Xianwu couldn't hear a single word.

Xianwu toddled towards the inn where Meizhen waited with the others. Her expression was blank and her eyes dull. Fa ling stood up gently caressing her cheek. However, Xianwu's expression had no change. "Look! Look! She is the spirit. She even came to the heavenly palace!" whispered a man. "She was princess Yue in the past, could you believe it?" whispered the other one. "Even after everything happened she still shows her face. No shame." Murmured the woman. In midst of the voices Xianwu walked, however, no voices seemed to reach her. It already had reached to the softest spot of her heart unable to be recovered. Upon seeing Xianwu Meizhen called "Xiao Yue!! Come here!" Xianwu walked forward without listening to her.

"What's wrong? Didn't she hear you?" asked Shentong. Meizhen replied worriedly "No I don't think so. Fa ling heard me clearly so he should know I'm calling." Fenghuang looked at her with them nervously. Meizhen ran towards Xianwu as she patted her shoulders gently. "Xiao Yue?" she called looking at her worriedly. Suddenly Xianwu jolted "Yes?!" Meizhen looked at her confused. "Little girl, I was calling you for a long while. What's wrong did someone say anything or did the Heavenly Emperor say something?" Meizhen asked curiously.

Xianwu with a smile turned her head left and right in rejection. Meizhen on the other hand looked at her reading her mind.

"Xiao Yue… you know, your expression tells it that something has happened. Tell me." She urged. Xianwu stopped in her tracks. Turning to face Meizhen, her once expressionless face was now turned in to a teary one. Meizhen was shocked. "Xiao Yue…?" she asked wiping her tears which started to flow nonstop. Instinctively Meizhen hugged her. "Shh…" she told patting her back. Xianwu's voice though was lost in her sobs

Many Heavenly Supremes around too stopped to look at her. However. Xianwu at that moment was burning inside her heart and tears fell like overflowing dam, which couldn't be stopped even if someone wanted to. It was enough! Even death was better than hearing all those words every time. Shentong and Fenghuang ran towards her as well.

"Xianwu? What's wrong did someone say anything? Tell us." Shentong looked at her worriedly. Fenghuang rubbed her back consoling her. Xianwu sitting on her knees tiredly cried "I want… to run away… take me back… to where I came from. I don't want to stay here… Please! Please!" Fenghuang eyed Meizhen as she stood there in shock. Fenghuang asked gently "You want to go back to Yeying? Okay, we'll take you. Stop crying." Shentong consoled her.

Fenghuang on the other hand drew the teleportation array. Meizhen walked towards Xianwu sitting in front of her. She was angry and her expression grave. She asked "Tell me, who dared to hurt you?" Xianwu sat with her expression blackened her tears still flowing. However, no answer escaped from her lips. Meizhen taking a deep breath she eyed Fenghuang "Brother Fenghuang you can complete the array. We'll be right back!" Meizhen instantly took out a yellow talisman, grabbing Xianwu's arm she activated the spell as the two figures soon vanished from the sight.
