"Show yourself… everything is already in our palms. Even if you're hiding, it won't change the fact about the things we know…" she called gazing at the surroundings. Shijei looked at her concurred "Xianwu… who are you referring to?" he asked. Xianwu smiled "You'll know in a moment." She replied.

Instantly, a man covered in a black and white, with his long hairs tied into a ponytail sat beside Bingwen picking him up in his arms. "You're right… I can't run anymore. Whatever that has happened is all because of me. I should finally take some responsibility." he said. The figure felt too familiar to Xianwu even Shijei turned around to grasp a look.

The voice and face concluded as the two of them called "Mo Xingchen?!" Mo Xingchen pulled Bingwen up. Gently wiping his bloody forehead with his sleeve. Bingwen opened his eyes tiresomely as he called "Big brother…? You're finally here…" Xianwu and Shijei looked at the two of them perplexed. "You both are siblings?!" Shijei questioned.

Xingchen smiled brokenly "Indeed we are siblings. He is the only family I've left…" he explained. "Many years ago, when I was a born in the mortal world, I was abandoned. I was adopted by the Mo family, when they didn't have a child. I was given a name and a place. Later on I was accompanied by two more siblings. A brother and a sister. We were like a happy family until the time I ascended to the heavenly realm. I was a pride for everyone and thoroughly enjoyed the blessing gifted to me. For what I didn't know was that Bingwen desired for the same. From a very young age from my influence. He started studying sorcery and finally became worthy of practicing for ascension to become like me he was sent to the silent city." Xingchen explained.

"At that time, he gave his very best. But was stopped by our villagers and their greed. This resulted in losing our family and inviting ourselves with hatred. Bingwen wasn't able to control his hatred and would do anything for revenge. However, as his brother I couldn't bear to lose him and so, suppressing his hatred and remorse I cursed him. I thought if I would do something like this he might be safe and free. Instead, I made everything worse and made his life hell." he added.

"So the one who cursed him was you?" Xianwu asked. Xingchen nodded. Shijei who wasn't ready to understand his confession angered "Do you know what sort of punishment you'll receive for cursing a mortal being and taking away all his rights?! Are you out of your mind?" Xingchen smiled "If it's all to save my only family… then I guess its fine." he assured. "It's not only about family!" Shijei scolded. "You! Not only did you curse a mortal. But created a hassle in solving a heavenly case. You hid everything so clearly without letting anyone know mostly, when you were the one involved in it. The mortals were turned into corpses because of your curse resulting in so many casualties. It's truly a crime!"

Xianwu gazed at him while she asked "Did you do all this to keep him safe?" Xingchen looked at her and nodded. "Lady Xianwu, you may think it that way. Because there is nothing more precious in this world to me rather than Bingwen… after all he is the only one left whom I could take care of." he stated.

Hongqi who was desperately angry shouted "Unbelievable! Unbelievable! It was all because of you that my fellow brothers died, they died and were revived. We had to kill them again and again because of you, but they still woke up. You heavenly Supremes had already toppled our city. Why did you have to go to the extent to wake up and kill us again and again?!" he angered. "We couldn't even do anything… there was nothing we could do. Only to catch that brat! We gave up our lives and turned into corpses and at the end he lives again?!" he questioned.

Panting hard he grabbed his sword and his eyes raging red. "Either you live or I do today!" he ordered while throwing his sword towards Xingchen with his last force. Xingchen however pulled Bingwen into a hug turned his back towards the sword and shut hit eyes tightly. Nevertheless, the sword was stopped by Fa ling and Shijei had already pierced his sword into Hongqi's stomach. "I think… you should rest now…" he said politely.

Hongqi looked at Bingwen and Xingchen in front of him as his eyes turned lucid. "In the end… I couldn't even take revenge. Just like the elders said I'm really a good for nothing… but, mark my words Heavenly Supremes. Even if you beg on your knees for forgiveness I would never forgive you. Just like we suffered, you are going to suffer for the rest of your lives…" he cursed. Taking his last breath, Hongqi fell on the ground with a thud. His eyes closing forever.

"Till the very end, he still resents…" Xianwu thought remorsefully. Suddenly, a voice entered her brain. "Princess… good work." Xianwu's eyes widened instantly. The voice was calm and tacky. Xianwu couldn't realize at all. Before she could ask who the person was the voice continued "Don't be alarmed Princess. We are looking at you from the bridge. However~ it's too hard to make out. Even my eyes are tired…" he sighed. Xianwu blinked her eyes perplexed.

"But don't worry! We'll get you out. The moment I clear the fog from here!" he convinced. The voice felt reliable and comfortable at the same time. Xianwu couldn't help but reply "Thank you…" The voice seemed to halt but still it continued "Moreover, don't worry about telling me anything, I've already heard everything." He added. Xianwu who was surprised nodded with the slight hum.

"There's nothing that the heavenly Supremes cannot do…" she thought. Her gaze shifting towards Shijei and then the two brothers. She spoke up "The heavenly Supremes have already heard everything… the moment the fog clears up. Let's try to get out." She proposed.

Mo Xingchen who sat with his brother in his arms stuttered "Lady Xianwu…" he called. Xianwu walked closer to him. Xingchen gently placed Bingwen on the ground kneeled before her. His hands clutched over his knees and his head bowed deep. Xianwu looked at him with her expression widened. "General Xingchen? What are you doing? Kindly stand…" she exclaimed.

However, tilting his head sharply he interrupted "Senior! Please listen to me. No… Crown princess Yue Xianwu, Please listen to this lowly being! I have a single request please listen to me…" he pleaded. Xianwu who was shocked to the core couldn't utter a single word upon his actions.
